The best restaurants in Forest Heath East of England

My friend and I ate at NSK recently and to be fair the food was good, however, our bill was a bit of a shock. One breakfast, one sausage bap and four coffees was just shy of £25. NSK is located in Freshfields which borders with Icewell Hill it`s basically placed on a Council Estate but charges "Pantry" prices. Yes, a business cannot survive on fresh air alone, however, the service & ambiance was not of a high enough standard too warrant being fleeced. I think NSK need to look at their pricing or in six months time they wont need to. Would we return as customers? Yes, if the pricing was competitive.

Is SmartDamo really smart or do they genuinely have treacle in the toilets? I’m so glad Miss Hoppy taught me how to spell. Greggs in Diss is lovely 😁

It's been 4-5 years from when every weeks we getting pizza from pizza express and i don't know what wrong if something has changed but the pizza test and looks always different, always we miss the garlic butter dip or something else. Hopefully they will do something about that costumers are not happy at all with this restaurant.

Wrong order, waited 15 mins for them to remake a egg and cheese muffin?? Wrap had no ketchup in. Would no recommend just go to thetford McDonald’s.

Rubbish, I was told that that management had said that customers had to use koisk, and was asked if needed help. No, helped wasn't needed. I have enough interaction with ordering remotely via computers. Speaking to a person is nice. Just not in Burger King it seems.

Very clean and neat... Staff was very friendly...

Popped in here on as fancied beer and food......wasn't expecting much from the menu , they did a tapas menu ......but English style version ......tbh was expecting frozen , from the price , but was more than surprised!! Everything was fresh produce , cooked lovely and very tasty . Commended the food, and the chef came out to see us ... promised I would do a review ( only now got round to it ) they are going to be pushing their restraunt and if the snack / tapas menu is anything to go by . Anyone in Mildenhall, please pop in , it's got a great atmosphere....cheap beer ! And food that's very reasonable, but more importantly tasty !! Will definitely be back

Went twice with children and dog -lovely food with friendly staff and good service - went twice as so nice - would defo recommend it as it’s a bit further out so quieter but worth it Not a large menu choice but we all found something we liked and it was nicely cooked Thankyou for a lovely meal

I came on for a large Cappuccino and a three cheese toastie. I was greeted nicely, the place was very clean and a few people around for a Monday morning. The toastie was great and I love Cappuccino, no complaints from me. It was nice and quiet too. Thanks

Usual poor food hygiene whilst handling both food and money with bare hands One person wearing gloves but using same to handle money and rolls Three of the staff always pick rolls using serviette so where the manager training the others Certainly no training in food cross contamination and guessing Greggs are not customer focused as I’ve left many reviews but never a reply!

Waitrose offers and excellent stop for snacks and tea/coffee with free parking. Newspapers as well! A great plus in these days.

Absolutely awful I’ve had better microwave curry meals. Was extremely over priced and waited over an hour and the restaurant was empty! I know why. Please don’t eat there save your money and get a microwave meal will be a hell of a lot better and you will not need to remortgage your house. Shocking🤮

Ordered from the restaurant in Mildenhall. Decided to give them one more chance. Never again. It has so far taken over an hour and still no Pizza. Just called and was told 5 minutes, the reason given was that their system went down. It seems everytime I order this must happen since the last time I ordered it too almost 2 hours for the Pizza to show up. I know this is rediculous since My wife and I worked for PJs in the US and it is less than 15 minutes from starting the order until it comes out of the oven. Now I know that they are not that busy in Mildenhall during the week. What's up here
