Don't answer their phone, website doesn't take card payments, can't plane an order for love nor money. Waste of time, no wonder they have such a low rating!

Really good coffee thats why i like Starbucks. Friendly staff and great service but sometimes they were getting slow after serving a customer or two because but the staff busy in gossip conversations in front of the customers who are waiting to be served. Location is good so do the atmosphere.

staff not that friendly as some say. depends who their serving, cleanliness could do with improvement not always clean inside or out. i was shown up by the manager and a member of staff last time i was in there Infront of other customers. i will never go in there again. i have been to other Costas and got a much better experience and very friendly. and just a note to add not that has anything to do with the service, but one of the girls was sacked from there for taking 2 sandwiches but the managers farther get coffee and food free and sits in there all day, one rule for one as the saying goes.

My night at the dragon king. Well first off, I entered to a fairly empty restaurant with little to no ambiance. A restaurant void of customers shows something about the place. I grab some slimy, sloppy wet chicken and tuck into my dinner. The food was decent other than the chicken, however, my dragon king experience was ruined by some teenage boys. I look up after hearing a crash of cutlery and see a block of jelly on my table,presumably coming from some teenage boys sat in the corner. Would recommend for a quick meal. :)

Friendly welcoming waitress, ( young, brown hair and glasses) , good service , nice food. Loved the salted caramel hot chocolate that was recommended to us. Highly recommend as waitress even made our dog feel special!

Was informed food would be late, offered alternatives, food arrived and we were given complimentary drinks and bread as accompaniment. Thank you to Lauren for her excellent customer service x

We were spoiled with a fantastic service and amazing food on our visit this Saturday 28/12/2024 we chatted with owner Mohammed about his years of running successful restaurants and his family life with his son Ricky looking after us throughout our meal. We were given an extra special dish we just 'had to try' that we will definitely be ordering again! Traditional cooking methods and flavours that can't be found outside of India! All round wonderful evening had and we will certainly be coming again very soon with friends. Thank you for making our anniversary special. Had the best time celebrating a 69th wedding anniversary with family. Lovely Sunday dinner. Beef was perfect and cauliflower cheese to die for. Lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and good service. We all want to go again next Sunday!

staff are lovely and really good at making drinks, the lady that was working there at 12-1 pm on the 13th November 2024 makes the drinks so nice l, i’m always excited when she serves me because i know the drink’s going to be amazing !

Just had a great afternoon tea with family. Lovely staff, so helpful and easy. The sandwich and cake selection was perfect and as much tea as we wanted. Great location right next to the old part of Hitchin.

We were going to a party nearby and opted to stay over at The Bull, for a Village Pub with rooms, it is very clean and comfortable with ample parking. The staff in the pub were warm and welcoming, the “on site chip shop” meant we could have a quick bite before heading to the party and they kindly ordered a cab and provided the number to contact for the cab back. Breakfast was very good and served with a smile. This is just what it says on the tin, with the addition of friendly staff.

The staff are always friendly and the service is good. The atmosphere is homely and the place is clean and welcoming. It is always a pleasure to visit.

Arrived at 14:30 to find it shut. This is not unusual as it frequently shuts early. I have never known it open at 17:00 although it may well do. Cannot rely on the cafe being open after shopping. Do not make popping in a part of your plans.
