The best restaurants in North Norfolk East of England

Revisiting whilst out for a family half term break away in Norfolk. Cracking Sunday roast once again. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great Guinness great atmosphere friendly people

Rooms are spotless and a little quirky. Staff were amazing. Very welcoming and helpful! All only a short walk from cromer main street. We are a group of 6 and will definitely be staying again.

I wouldn't use any other chippie even if Greys was closed. Always freshly cooked, perfectly (not over) battered, tasty fish, good portion sizes, prepared and served in a friendly and efficient manner. I would highly recommend Grey's.

Good honest food at a fair price. Not the most glamorous of decor but quality out ways it. Very quiet and on the door states cash only which could be of putting so owner needs to remove as they do have a card reader. Owner needs to address!

Saturday lunchtime, staff attentive, bacon and brie panini excellent, will return.

Absolutely brilliant curry, beautifully cooked and piping hot on delivery. Super friendly delivery man. It is hard to get good authentic curry in north norfolk (many taste the same but just are a different colour). No so Al Haga, splendidly different and generously portioned curries with plenty of meat. Really happy they now deliver to us!

Absolutely loved the seafood platter I ordered. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed my time and meal here. Would definitely visit again.

Terrible coffee even worse food very uninviting uncomfortable seating all that coupled with expensive prices and the stinking toilets are a disgrace, it could be a whole lot better

Our 1st visit today 22nd January. We were greeted by a young lady and told we could sit where we liked as we arrived at opening time. My husband order the big wellie. I order two toast poached egg sausage and bacon. Presentation was superb. But. The sausage had a strange sour odour. I smelt it my husband smelt it, took a bite and immediately removed it. It was not nice my husband did the same. I went up to get some jam for my toast. And quietly told a staff member. The sausages were not nice they were on the turn. She asked if we would like more, I politely refused and said we had almost finished our meal. We not once got a visit to ask if our meal was OK. Nothing !! We went up to pay and again not a word was mention. No staff interaction, no inquiry as to our meal nothing. After owning and running Restaurant all our lives we were quite amazed at the lack of customer empathy No interaction with the customer at all. We know 1st hand that reviews are important. That's why we didn't make a fuss. But your staff need to be trained in customer service. Hence our review.
