The staff where friendly enough and customer focused. HOWEVER, the duty manager was completely rude and not customer focused. She is the type of person that stops me wanting to part with my money. It was suppose to be a treat fore and my mum, which was ruined by her. The tables were filled with dirty trays, she also didn't put any day dots on the the cakes she got out and was picking cutlery up with her hands touching the parts that you put into your mouth. Since she's been working there the atmosphere is marred. I would rather sit in a dirty pigsty. The pigs would be more friendly. Hurry up and open Starbucks (even though it's not my go to coffee outlet) Change your attitude, if not change your sour face. Perhaps customer facing roles are not for you.

We going as a family and we order our dinner we are short one portion of chips and I don't need Remind them that they are a chicken shop I going to a chicken shop and I purchased an extra piece of chicken with my dinner and I asked for a thigh a side breast And then they give me a tiny piece of surely if I want to buy a piece of chicken and I specify what I would like I should be sold If a customer would like to go into a shop to purchase something and be specific to requirements, then he should be sold what he thought he was buying

What a shame!! We drove here & ordered a lamb phall, chicken dhansak, peshwari naan (they spell it “nan”), garlic naan, 2 pappadoms & a pot of mint sauce. What we received was far from the above. The lamb phall had 7 bits of lamb in it with not a single chilli in sight & had the heat of a terrible madras. It just tasted of powdered spices. The chicken dish was bland & not anything like a dhansak. Both the “peahwari” naan & “garlic” naan didn’t have any coconut or garlic in them. On the plus side the pappadoms were delicious. Our entire order came to £23, so I suppose it’s true. You get what you pay for.

Condsidering it says under new management but you still have Debbie working there who according to the A Board outside I am afraid thst the food was to say the least Poor We went it there ordered two tuna and cheese wraps and two pots of tea, The tea arrived I poured mine into my cup which I had already milked from a small jug and it curdled. We smelt the jug and it was sour. This was replaced with small milk packets then our supposed lunch of the two wraps came up. There was no Cheese half or even less than a small lettuce leaf a very small slice of tamato each 4 chrisps (not big ones) one slivver of red pepper. It cost £4 pounds each for just the meal which wasnt anything in any way enough to feed a cat a dinner let alone a person the wrap was super small Very dissappointed as I am a local resident I do not think your going to have many customers return again to eat there and indeed I wouldnt even have a cup of tea there again. Can the new managerment who ownes it do something to educate the cook there how to provide adequate and sufficient value for money to their customers. The young man who served us was untra polite a credit to the younger generation and was very obliging . I did not complai at the time even though I was asked by him was everything ok.

Classic seaside fish & chips place. Food freshly cooked. Takeaway. Decent range. Minimarket (offie) over the road. Service friendly but rather slow - a result of how busy they were. Lot of people milling around the service counter, in each others way; would advise them to try to organise a better waiting system eg give a number to each order? There are tables inside but seemed hot and noisy.

Great traditional seafood at it's best. We had a seafood salad and a prawn cocktail, sat outside the pier bar with a glass of white wine and enjoyed the best of a British seaside lunch. In fact we did this twice during our 4 day break.

The coffee was nice. The prices were reasonable. The cakes looked nice and homemade but the buttercream was made with margerine and that flavour was foul. We all scraped the icing off our cake and just ate the sponge because we hadn't had lunch.

Mostly a takeaway business although I think they have the odd table in there! Regular customer and have never had a complaint - good food, generous portions and friendly service - give it a try!
