Disgusting slimy undercooked ( raw in middle) chicken burger soggy sorry excuse for an onion ring in it and cardboard warm at best fries One star is far too high for what they served me tonight!!

One of the best chip shops in Clacton and I’ve tried quite a few over the years I’ve lived here. Never had a bad meal, a greasy one, always nicely cooked and the family who run it are lovely. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

We heard they did a good Sunday roast, so decided to give them a try. Glad we did. The roast was fantastic. Proper home cooked food and not the precooked and reheated stuff a lot of the big chains serve up. We opted for the roast beef and the extra of cauliflower cheese with leaks and bacon and I highly recommend you try that as it was superb. Big thick slices of tender beef and nice roasties and an impressive range of veggies which consisted of parsnips, carrots, broccoli, swede and peas! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Best roast dinner i've had in apub for a very long time. We look forward to going back!

Ate at the Swan yesterday and ordered the Pork Belly. It was definitely sub-standard. There was hardly any meat, the fat was not rendered, the crackling was limp and inedible and the broccoli, ordered as a side, was cold and overcooked. However, the gravy was good and so was the mash. We have eaten at the Swan many times and usually have no complaints, so perhaps yesterday they were just having an off day but still, I would not recommend this dish.

Outstanding service from these guys. I order regularly from FPA and they always deliver quick the food is phenomenal and they go out their way to cater to their customers. Twice now I’ve put in their special requests to leave order under my car when I’m not home when expected and they’ve done that both times (Even when I’m at fault for not being home in time for delivery) which they do not have to do. Easily the best pizza in the Alresford and Brightlingsea area by a long mile and I cannot recommend them enough!

Had a wonderful time at this place. The prices were fair, Staff were friendly And the pool table overlooked the sea creating quite the vibe. Staff are very very freindly and had nice chats with all of my family members which came with me. It's a shame not many people know of this place, a true hidden gem! Please if you haven't already, try this place out! It's just behind the bowling alley to the right side of the right lane. Thanks again for such a lovely time!

It took over an hour to deliver and I have been I’ll for 3 days

accepted my order and then didn't deliver my food . tried and tried and couldn't get them to answer .so £27 gone and no food

Pizza before crossing to Hoek va Holland

Used to go here a lot but seems to have gone down hill The quality of the food has taken a turn for worst it feels like the ingredients / product is much cheaper then before I don’t no if the new owner are trying to save a few pennies the last 2-3 times it’s not been the best Unfortunately the only English speaking here are the people that answer the phones So it’s any complaints they have to try and sort it which is not really fair :( I now use another Chinese

It's a pleasant little café that's a little quirky. It's relaxing to be there, but the decor is a bit tired. Don't be put off by this comment though, it's a good little place. Enjoy.

Worst takeaway in years. Absolute lazy bunch of sods. Missing half of the order and turned up 35 minutes late. Go elsewhere.
