Nice place to read and visit the Tresaures Gallery which contains editions of rare and important items, like the Magna Carta.

On nous avait recommandé ce fish and chips comme étant le meilleur, mais quelle déception ! Même ici En venant du Luxembourg, le prix n’était clairement pas un problème, mais pour 140 £ en famille, la qualité n’était tout simplement pas au rendez-vous. Franchement, on aurait préféré dépenser cette somme ailleurs.

Beautiful place, great ambience, fantastic food. Feels just like Italy and as a family we thoroughly enjoyed it. Jake, the Brazilian/Italian server with blonde hair certainly deserves a promotion, absolutely excellent service. Will be coming back

It's my 3rd visit to The Shell restaurant in Holborn. On this occasion, I am so disappointed with the food and being charged £2.90 for Dijon mustard. The seafood grill I had was tasty. But, when the steak my husband ordered came, he couldn't even cut it with his steak knife and never mind about eating it. We highlighted the issue and his main course was swiftly replaced with no fuss. Thank you. The Dijon mustard was only requested because my husband thought he was having steak. We did a query about the extra charge and was told his steak came with peppercorn sauce hence Dijon mustard is additional sauce. I joked about why I was not charged for ketchup since my seafood grill came with butter sauce. Disappointed would be my ending word here.

Very unique bar with great live music and a cozy atmosphere. Cocktails are expertly crafted and all taste very unique. Service is top notch, very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

Not our first time here, and still amazing service even when the tech was playing up,, tapas is always yummy and speedily prepared! Highly recommend for groups to share plates to get a taste of everything :)

No es especial Me decepciona decir... . nada terrible pero muy promedio. Así que no entiendo por qué tiene una estrella Michelin. El estándar de la comida en general era sabroso, pero la presentación estaba a la par con un muy buen pub de campo, especialmente el plato principal de carne. Si bien esto puede sonar severo esto es lo que sentimos. El asiento en el primer piso tampoco era muy cómodo. El plato de pescado de merluza en el menú de la hora del almuerzo está bien, pero la piel del pescado no estaba crujiente y luego recubierto ... . así que todo bastante suave y masticable y sin sentido. Y las verduras bastante amargas, como una versión más picante de la achicoria y un extraño acompañamiento... . esto no realzó el plato en absoluto. Los postres de arroz con pudín - el arroz estaba 'al dente'... . ok para un plato principal de pasta como espero, pero no para un postre. Hemos tenido varios almuerzos recientemente en Galvin la Chapelle y desde el punto de vista del sabor de la comida y la presentación en un nivel diferente - y el personal de servicio está mucho mejor presentado... .. no llevar pantalones vaqueros azules. Las entradas estaban bien.
