The best restaurants in Lambeth London

Yesterday was the first time we went to this place. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the courteous service, with the high quality meal and fine drinks and with the friendly cost. We will surely go back there soon.

Vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, excellent drinks, and is perfectly for pre- or post-theatre dining.

I was so annoyed at the people who served us and the other servers in the restraurant. Secondly, their portion sizes are too small and unecessarily pricey. Would've have been satisfied even if the food tasted nice, but nope. Didn't work out. But the most annoying were the servers. I just think unnecessarily they had attitude. The way they placed plates on our table, not giving us basic things like water without asking for it, not listening to us when we asked for tissues. Such atrocious behaviour. I'm not sure if it's because we are Indians, because the biasness was very evidently seen. If you're running an industry like this, even if there was no racism, learn to behave with your customers. Never visiting this dingy place ever again. You guys will get away with a sorry. But understand you need to do more than that.

The food and staff are honestly incredible, I love this restaurant and have been going for years, I have to say the portion sizes for some of the dishes could be better and I have noticed portions over time have gotten smaller that’s my only critique.

My family very enjoyed of this Turkish cousin evry food, it was very great atmospher and my kids are really liked kids meals spagetti and burgers. We will be back very soon here again. Halal Recomended

My experience with Sanda as my server was exceptional. She was polite and friendly and put our order in a timely manner. She was attentive and checked in with the table to make sure everything was good. She was fantastic!

Special thanks to the chef for responding to an unusual dietary requirement (low fibre). Food is excellent.

I had eaten at Honest hamburgers before and throughly enjoyed a meal with my family No complaints This early evening I was extremely disappointed with the meal. I had been cooking all over the festive season and I was desperate for a break from it I ordered a small honest hamburger and chips The hamburger was not hot and mediocre taste The chips were not hot or fresh I think the chips had been left for sometime very very disappointing I was not able to return the meal due to circumstances

Relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of beers.

This is a good place to have lunch. The Mediterranean salad with tuna is nice. My only quibble is the music is too loud. I'd turn it off.

Food is really delicious, very fresh. The staff is very friendly.

Estoy revisando su franquicia del Royal Festival Hall aquí. Y específicamente la oferta de 'Caja infantil / bolsa de almuerzo para niños'. Lo siento, mi conclusión es que está bien, pero creo que deberían mejorar su juego. ya que el precio es actualmente 5. 50 (para una bolsa de almuerzo para niños). Derecho, Tú eliges una bebida. El día que estuvimos aquí, la única opción era el jugo de manzana. Está bien, no es Coca-Cola, pero ¿por qué no hay una alternativa sin agua / agua pura? ? Luego eliges un sándwich. Solo dos opciones: jamón o queso (ambos en pan blanco). Tsk. . . Hola ? ! ? ¿Qué tal una pequeña porción de pizza (quizás vegetariana), o tal vez palitos de pan con houmous? ? Luego, eliges 3 tinas de una variedad ofrecida. Había cuatro en nuestro día: palitos de zanahoria, rodajas de pepino, uvas y también una especie de gelatina (?). De acuerdo, tres (tal vez cuatro) cosas buenas. Pero como puedes elegir 3, en realidad no hay muchas opciones. Oye, ¿podríamos tener algunas opciones más?  Toms de cereza? ¿Aceitunas? Segmentos de naranja? ¿Ensalada mixta? Flores de brócoli? ? Nueces y pasas? ¿Frutas secas (mangos, etc.)? ? En una nota positiva, al menos no se ofrecían productos azucarados con chocolate. Para concluir, Aunque creo que la actual "Lonchera para Niños" de la Compañía de Cocineros es mejor que la media, hay mucho margen de mejora.

Waited 2 hours for an order, was told it was delivered by 7.55pm didn’t receive until 8:35pm, I understand it’s Saturday and it’s busy time but could have put some extra Popadoms or something.

I had wanted to try Carmen Tapas for such a long time but was very disappointed by the experience. I shared a selection of 3 tapas and the vegetarian paella. The tapas were alright, the manchego croquetas were particularly nice but the patatas bravas were just bland potato’s with a sauce on the side which we felt was strange. Moving on to the paella - it was DISGUSTING. It was completely bland and tasteless and the vegetables used in it looked suspiciously like the cheap vegetable mix of green beans, carrots and peas that you can get it any supermarket. I can’t believe that was £30 for tasteless, frozen mush!!!! The service was also not great as we couldn’t see a member off staff to request the dish be changed and not once were we asked if everything was okay with the food. Additionally, this can’t be very popular as we were one of three tables at 7pm on a Saturday Would not recommend.

Amazing food and huge portion sizes. Also love their honey wine. The sharing platters are great if you're unfamiliar with Eritrean food and want to try different dishes
