The best restaurants in Darlington North East

Been twice since lockdown & both times my Big Mac and fries were stone cold and was bad all night!!!id stay well clear

Visited with dad in wheelchair who can only eat soft things. The gentleman serving couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful suggesting things and offering to cut a smaller portion of cake for dad. We enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and some delicious lemon cake. Saw some other comments about toilets but when we visited we found them clean and ok, just appeared a bit bit shabby/untidy.

Always great service and fantastic food.

absolutely fantastic will order again beef burger with fried onions 6/5 stars our daughter has never finished a chicken burger until we ordered one from here

Got abused for being white when asking for a takeout box.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff being refuse service and being told it’s because we are Scottish. Discrimination disgusting place

Overall it was good but the meat portion sizes just made me feel I’d been robbed, everybody in the restaurant were talking and complaining about them they really were disgusting, off each meat the were about 3-4 inches long and about 1 inch wide and cut wafer thin I upgraded to large after seeing the portion sizes but the only difference between them was you got 2 sausages on the large for an extra £2 that’s £1 a sausage, I won’t be returning to Toby Carvery Darlington much better value for money at a pub chain

OMG la comida para llevar (envoltura Shawarma) era increíble, tanto pollo como también el cordero, ensalada y salsas eran un acompañamiento perfecto para los envoltorios recién hechos, al igual que las patatas fritas, el servicio era rápido y el lugar tenía un bullicio al respecto, todo el mundo era personal feliz, los clientes y los niños, sin duda volveremos. Gracias 😍

Absolutely terrible takeaway. Food due at 18:15, rang up when it was 30 minutes late to be told the driver had just left (the usual takeaway line) he turned up 15 minutes later with an item missing and a poor unrelated replacement. The pizza was cold and had clearly been stood there awhile, probably since 18:15, the chips needed to spend more time being cooked and less time on the counter top. This used to be a nice takeaway but has clearly gone downhill, and as a result will be getting no more of my money, never again!

Doing the usual, press the on it’s way button when it gets to the time it’s supposed to be delivered, then doesn’t show up for another 30 + mins

Very nice grilled burger nice and hot and served with a smile. Definitely recommend if you are collecting from shop as I did.

Ordered food for our son’s birthday. It Was lovely. Plenty of it for the money. We loved the red thai curry and the honey chilli chicken. We will definitely be back.

Fui esta noche de postre con mi novio y mi hijo de 7 años. Al llegar, no sabía que tenías que esperar una mesa porque no había ningún cuerpo allí, y la mujer detrás del mostrador dijo que perdona que te conseguirá una mesa. No me gustó eso desde el principio. Entonces pedí un helado de sundae para mi hijo y pedí dos veces salsa de chocolate en él. Teniendo en cuenta que el helado cuesta casi £ 7 y tiene que pagar un extra de £ 1 por un pequeño chorro de salsa. Nos sentamos y esperamos por nuestra comida, todo vino menos el helado. Mi novio se acercó y dónde estaba y había estado sentado allí en el congelador todo el tiempo. Luego me preguntó dónde estaba la salsa, y ella dijo ‘no hay salsa es extra’. Grité y dije que sí pagué extra, a lo que ella luego me miró con la mirada más boba que he visto y dijo que imprimiré su recibo. Dije si está ahí o no, pregunté dos veces. Ella me miró de nuevo y dijo ‘lo haré esta vez’ como si fuera una especie de vagabunda que no podía permitirse un £ 1 extra después de ya gastar £ 30. La actitud era apestosa. No vas a volver no deberías estar trabajando en hostelería sin una sonrisa, parece que no soy el único que piensa que esto tampoco se sale de las críticas. El hombre del personal era encantador y quiere enseñarle algunas lecciones de su libro.

El pedido estaba mal, ordenado en la aplicación, estaba esperando 15 minutos como se olvidó de mí, tuvo que salir del coche para pedir de nuevo el pedido y luego esperar otros 10 minutos El personal discutía sobre sí mismos en la parte trasera. Cuando llegué a casa, todo lo que dijo fue que lo sentía porque estaban cortos de personal y tenían nuevos miembros del personal. El personal era muy grosero allí y tan miserable

We got two double deluxe burger meals and a happy meal waited ten minutes at drive thru window when we got it home we had to use a knife and fork (yes I know rediculous) the topping and the cheese was all over the box was absolutely nothing like the picture you advertise Customer service is rubbish I know the staff are kids but some training wouldn’t go amiss
