The best restaurants in Middlesbrough North East

Great place and usually good however was very disappointed with Sunday lunch. Was not very warm and all piled on plate and covered in gravy, looked very unappetising. Never been anywhere before for Sunday lunch that didn't serve vegetables in a separate dish for you to help yourself to what veg you like or are able to eat ( some people have dietary needs) Much better places nearby for Sunday lunch!

Not a nice experience. Ordered the chicken curry with fried rice. It didn't taste like curry whatsoever. Very dissapointed.

Called in today for some drinks and light snacks as fairly quiet early on.no dodgy customers sat outside yet as usual ,service good and plenty of choice ,price a bit steep and seating arrangement could be better also why toilets locked

Nearly 3 hours wait for two jacket potatoes and a can, that is an absolute disgrace.

Visited today with my sister and two children. Staff wonderful very friendly. Even put baked beans in a container so they didn't touch the rest of her food! Two parmos (Groupon) and two drinks - excellent food

We received Tremendous service from Jake who is a fantastic asset to Bentleys at Boho One in Middlesborough. Great food at a good price definitely VFM and all served with a smile. In the 4 years that I have been visiting Mima, I can honestly say the best thing about it is the staff. Amanda, Leah and the team are always smiling, welcoming and ensure that everyone has a positive experience. The downfall recently sadly is the menu. Whilst the cafe used to serve fresh salads and quiches, they have now resorted to what every other cafe in the area seems to be doing - toasties and sandwiches. Even worse, a toastie will set you back £8.95?!? For a toastie?! Nearly £9! Over £13, I paid earlier for a toastie and coffee when I can go round the corner to Costa and get the equivalent for £5.99. It really is a shame because this used to be my favourite cafe in Middlesbrough and was the local meetup for me and my colleagues working nearby at the Court. Regrettably now though, I don't think we'll be back :(

Undoubtedly, this restaurant serves the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Middlesbrough. However, if you crave chop suey or house specials, this might not be the ideal place for you, as they specialize in more traditional Chinese dishes. They also have a standard English takeout menu, for delivery, but its only ok. However the sit in menu is extensive, featuring various unique dishes such as beef aorta, jellyfish, offal, and chicken feet. During my visit, I ordered the Mongolian lamb, and my partner opted for the braised tofu dish. Both dishes were exceptional.

Pizza came cold and burnt never will I use this service again…….. wasn’t to be sent out and served only got for the bin

Order for home delivery. Got a call to say one item was sold out and the person on the phone was polite and gave me an alternative. My order arrived on time with a lovely apology note saying to have a lovely day. It’s a lovely touch. I also visit the coffee shop on occasion with my children and all the staff are always polite and helpful. Great place to visit!

Rooms were lovely and clean, breakfast delicious with some good options. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Overall a decent hotel to stay at. Popped into the bar on the evening for both drinks and food, very impressed.

Completely sent my order wrong addres. They were not will to help. Bad service.

Good wait time but the pizza tasted doughy and the cheese tasted wrong, the Donna meat tasted so dry
