Best fish and chips in the area, better than seahouses.Beautiful fish crispy batter very large fish in a box tray.the chips were fresh and good.prices resonable too.great service

Took my grandkids there on Saturday morning (28-12-24) and enjoyed an absolutely perfect breakfast, served by the loveliest of staff. If you pass through Bellingham without dining here, it's your loss.

Visited to celebrate my mum and auntie’s birthday. Excellent value afternoon tea, highly recommended. Lovely old pub.

Another superb meal tonight at Amaree, we have had over 20yrs of custom here. Tonight, our meal was amazing as ever. Loved our chats between meals with Irfan who entertained us throughout. We cannot go elsewhere to compare to this high standard of quality of food, service and locality.

Best panini I’ve ever had, hands down. Ham, cheese and caramelised onion, toasted on tiger bread. Go there immediately!

Meal was expensive but nice. We waited nearly 2 hrs for our home delivery. The kitchen did ring to say when it was leaving but the wait was too long.

Another brilliant meal at Winships, beautiful calamari, mussels, and pasta. Brilliant service from Jack also. Lost count of the great meals we've had here now! Couldn't recommend enough.

Lovely quiet pub. Friendly and good prices

Really lovely cafe, super friendly welcome from the staff and regulars alike. The freshly baked scones were, according to J, "top tier". Will definitely come back to try our the breakfasts. Only comment would be that a plant based milk on offer would be great for the vegans/lactose intolerant.

It was late it was cold and it was burnt won't be using them again

Our first visit to Northumberland Arms definitely won't be the last. We went early evening so it was quite empty but it gradually filled up, so would advise booking. The meals were very tasty and well presented, good portion sizes. Prices were very reasonable1. Definitely recommend.

If you love your seafood, this place is just outstanding. Such pleasant, informal service, and such absolutely top level food. I started with a soft shell crab. Perfection. Clam chowder was guzzled enthusiastically. For mains, mussels earned plaudits, sea bass and hake beautifully prepared and served while my brill accompanied by tiger prawns was sublime. No wine as we are all on the month of denial, so the food had to survive on its own merits. Deserves such high praise. My love German Shepherd dog Winnie was allowed in, and happily and quietly lay by my side knowing I should not be disturbed. Take my word for it and go.

I thought I would visit Milan for a steak but I was bitterly disappointed, I asked for medium to well done and it was pink, I pointed this out to a member of staff and she said it was because of the thickness of the stake under nonsense, they deducted the £4 sauce and that was it we as a family have been a big supporter of this restaurant but not now.
