The best restaurants in Blackpool North West

Mi prometido y yo vinimos, nos moríamos de hambre. La comida es absolutamente deliciosa, pedimos Steak & Garstang pastel de queso azul, omg que era absolutamente increíble. La comida es fresca y sabrosa. El personal es tan educado y hasta la tierra, muy servicial y se aseguró de que estábamos contentos con todo, obviamente lo estábamos. La mayor ventaja es que tienen un fuego abierto, en un día frío de diciembre es un toque muy acogedor.

Great atmosphere, great staff and great prices. Really enjoyed my night in here, just wish I had found it the day I arrived and not the last night.

Amazing room to eat in and service was excellent . That’s where the good ends . Food very under whelming . Mackerel starter very small and just ok . Ham hock good size and decent quality . Mains of bass , mashed potato tasted like shop bought and very firm . Pork chop a bit tough and needed a steak knife to cut . Desserts very very poor. Banana cake clearly microwaved as chewy and hard on the edges and the cherry parfait still frozen . Would not have a main meal here again .

Food mostly awful. Service was good. Dips were small portions (each dip would fill two eggcups.) The taramasalata was o.k. but the hummus was lacking salt,garlic,olive oil and was served without an olive ! Our main dish was Kleftiko and arrived looking good,but, the boiled potato was piping hot in the centre and barley warm at the edge. The meat was well cooked and soft as was the half a carrot but whilst the gravy tasted ok it was heavy with fat and had not been strained enough. The ice cream tasted good and portion was great for people dieting . Our bill came to £65.50 without alcohol . I definitely felt ripped off . I guess alarm bells should go off when one walks into a restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday night and the place is more than half empty. This place is seriously over-priced for what they are offering. Won't be going back.

We arrived late on but the bouncers were so helpful! Covid restrictions followed and we were welcomed by Todd. He was so lovely and really made us want to stay. He was so knowledgeable with drinks and made us feel so comfortable. All the bar staff were lovely to be honest. First time visiting Blackpool and definitely the best bar we have been in. This bar slime makes us want to return! Thank you Todd and team x

I’m going to post this on here for anyone thinking of going to have a meal at the ‘Food Palace’ on whitegate Drive blackpool, don’t bother!!!! Yesterday was my dads birthday so we went just to celebrate there for meal. The starters were ok and hot. However, when the mains came they to say they were substandard was an understatement but not only that it was the absolute diabolical attitude of the waitress who served us that left us with a bitter taste in mouths and disappointment all round. The rice was disgusting thick stodgy and claggy we could not eat it so complained - the waitress said it’s always like this same every time which isn’t true as I’ve had takeout from there many times before and been fine. Then she changed her mind and told us it’s a different rice they have had to order in as usually get it from America 🇺🇸 well that’s obviously contradictory then!! So she had already brought our main course dishes out when she said I’ll bring you noodles instead to which we agreed 👍 and wouldn’t charge us for rice. While our mains are just sitting there going cold and waiting for the noodles to come a second batch of rice came out.!! Not sure why as we’d just agreed to noodles instead? I said to her my meal had gone cold whilst waiting for this to come and the batter on my prawns was now soggy, mum was eating her main on its own!! and dads hadn’t even come out yet! so she took mine away to get a fresh hot prawn one for me so then we are left to eat rice on its own with no mains!!!! wait it gets worse!! Didn’t think it could but it did. So the second batch of rice was not much better but at least edible eventually my salt and chilli king prawn came back and it was so heavy with thick batter on outside and was soggy inside I couldn’t eat it the first batch that went cold was better I’m certain the chef just reheated same one added more batter I ended up having to take out the prawn only inside I couldn’t eat the horrible batter!! So when we went to pay my dad and myself said to the waitress how poor the meal was and it was £76!!! The rice was £12.80 for a small portion to eat in you’d expect it to be at least edible !!! So we said we should not have to pay this full amount as it was dreadful and she had said initially we wouldn’t be charged for rice and as we couldn’t eat 3/4 of it. This was when her attitude changed completely she started to argue with me and my dad about it all she said well you’ve eaten it I said no we haven’t as we have had left over half of it after all this we could not eat it due to all these issues. Jesus Christ we ended up in a heated debate! we told her no wonder the restaurant is always dead inside with an attitude like this she said oh we do fine was busy last last night find that hard to believe always empty when we collect takeout she said she’d have to ring the manager about it he’s not on site as he has a chain of restaurants!! or we can wait till 11pm to talk to him when he comes into restaurant it was 7:30pm at this time! I said are you serious is this a joke ? I said I would never come back here again she said she didn’t care if we don’t come back we were gobsmacked in all my life I have never argued with any serving restaurant staff about a meal like this and my family have never been spoken to like this before over a meal I’m totally and utterly disgusted and fuming as it spoilt my dads birthday meal! Needless to say we are writing on here and I’m letting my friends know! We did get a reduction in the bill in the end but not without an absolute disgrace of an attitude and fighting for it and this should never have happened in first place. This place calls itself a restaurant! And for the extortionate prices nowadays they are charging you’d expect at minimal something you can eat !!! My advice to anyone thinking of going don’t because the food and service was disgusting and disgraceful!!! If I could give us no stars I would but it won’t let you.

Found my food great! The only thing is that found steel round scrubbers in the tray informed the owner, went again same old thing nothings changed won't be going again

Cannot fault anything, from the warm welcome to the brilliant food. Special menu was recommended and was certainly value for money. Fresh cooked food, the mixed starters were very generous, chicken satay was the best I've ever had. Good choice of mains, finished with fritters and ice cream. Will be coming back.

Great atmosphere and lovely welcome by the staff. I would never usually have gone to a pub like this however after hearing some great reviews since they have started serving food - thought I would give it a go! Like I said, lovely staff, lovely food, well done to the person who has managed to turn the pub around! Will definitely be returning.

What an absolute disgusting customer service my advice don't ever use this appalling service save yourself a nightmare wow unbelievable.

Went yesterday after the pleasure beach. Really nice fish and chips all cooked to order shop inside customer area could have been cleaner

Munchie box was good value for money my only negative was the chips...I like more onion and the chips crispy other than that I enjoyed it

Bastante bien vestido cangrejo y berberechos, sin embargo el cangrejo era un poco caro. Aún tenían una comida encantadora. El vendedor era un buen tipo, amable.

Best breakfast we had during our Blackpool stay. I had the big boy and my wife regular. All cooked well. Staff friendly
