The best restaurants in Carlisle North West

Cancelled train meant I had to get food quickly, so was forced to try here. Laughed at the reviews and rolled the dice despite them. The middle-aged guy with the glasses and short beard served me, nice enough guy to me personally tbh but... There was only one piece of bread left (it was just before 5pm to be fair) Barely any drinks No napkins No bags No lettuce That was all actually fine Then I got out and went to eat the sandwich, bread was stale. Olives looked old. Meat was debatable. Binned it 😂 Might have been fine but everything being out of stock and the reviews didn't fill me with confidence. He also turned off the lights while I was still in the shop and locked the door right behind me as I left

Delivery a little later than expected. The food was hot and delicious 😋

Dreadful! Ordered ahead as wanted gluten free option. Staff very unfriendly and had shocking attitudes! Staff incorrectly labelled my food - despite my gluten intolerance. Spent entire weekend violently throwing up as a result of their lack lustre approach. Avoid at all costs!!

If you must re heat fish from dinner time at least give a discount I am really ill and was looking forward to a lovely piece of fish f9r tea last night instead I end3d up with pains in my stomach all night look out environmental health

Cafe wasn't busy bit the food took a ridiculous amount of time to arrive . Don't recommend this place.

Rude man behind the counter! Terrible customer service and you have to pay 50p for an extra sauce on your kebab! Avoid! Plenty of other places open on a Saturday night!

Added specific instructions on how we wanted the food and it came as we liked. Good taste , fast delivery. Will order again. Cheers

I ordered the tower burger meal and I liked my meal, I was happy that this restaurant had a drive-thru, as I was able to get my order without waiting too long, good professional staff

The room was very big ,bed very comfortable very clean fantastic shower plenty of hot water breakfast was very good plenty of choice all the staff reception cleaners and restaurant staff very friendly and polite and a very big thumbs up for car park on site free to guests and hotel in the city center of Carlisle so everything is on the doorstep and excellent value for money we stayed all together for 11 nights while my wife was receiving radiotherapy at Carlisle hospital we would recommend a visit if you are thinking of visiting Carlisle

Called to ask for less cheese on my pizza (as I have always done it because I can’t seem to find a less cheese option on the website) a non-native English speaker guy picked up the call and started arguing with me immediately. I understand by the time I called to ask for less cheese he already put the pizza in the oven, completely understandable. But that can be said nicely, I just think he was being rude for no reason. Food is lovely as always and I will for sure order again.

Not putting up with this place any longer... Waiting time NO PROBLEM as nobody in Carlisle orders from here... Easily the worst take away in Carlisle (beats crusty cobbler on thus award)... changed names many times to escape the awful food rating.... been in news for health and safety many times... AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Ordered food over two hours ago and still not arrived, can’t get through on the phone as the mailbox is full (I’m assuming the phone is switched off)

I took 2 orders on Uber Eats (I'm a driver), waited 30-40 minutes for the orders, and they were both stone cold eventhough both handed to me at the same time (were kept around the corner hidden). Both the customers were unhappy and blamed me. Total order time was 1hr+ and my total pay was £9 (I can prove all of this). I'm never taking an order again from here, customers will probably never order again too. Either put somebody on delivery or turn off deliveries, you're putting people out of jobs without even realising it.

Food ordered had a nice little wait of over two hours Phoned up to be told it was on its way no sign of said order phoned back to be told it was just being cooked still no sign Finally arrived just barely warm If you want food on time would give this place a miss to be fair
