The best restaurants in Chester City Cheshire West and Chester North West

OMG!!! I was gobsmacked! £11 for a coffee and a cinaman bun! I literally fell off my chair! Taking my business elsewhere!

Food was delicious although a little pricey, they have a wide range of options, staff was friendly and we didn’t have to wait long.

Cracking little bar right in the centre of Chester. Great service from the friendly staff. Good choice of continental beers and wines on offer. Fantastic entertainment at the weekend. Nice cosy and intimate feel to the place. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. We'll definitely be back!

This cafe is awesome. Staff always so friendly, food and drinks always lovely and it’s always immaculately clean no matter how busy. Love the live bus time table and the fact you can have a conversation without being overheard as the seating allows for room and to pullout chairs etc Lots of natural light. It’s by go to place if I treat myself to a coffee when I’m out. Thank you so much for your friendly service

The Paninis here ate amazing, 100% better than the usual coffee chains and great value too.

Staff were fabulous. Food superb, the meat was a delight and so tasty. Good value if you like your meat. Great night had here.

Class food and as a veggie top choice

A touch of class, superior customer service, and amazing desserts. Nestled in the heart of the Queen Street West vibe, this is the place to be whether you're working on the laptop, reading your favorite book, or meeting friends. This is the place to be. So give it a visit order a couple of cups of the best tasting coffee in the city to go with one of their many amazing eats. Sit. Relax and enjoy. Your taste buds and soul will be pleased. 🫠

While the food was good the portions were virtually non existent and definitely not worth the money there is also a ten per cent gratuity added

Great cocktail place. Fun staff with good knowledge of drinks, tell them what you like, and they will advise what to choose. Would suit couples for a date or group of friends with a quaint taste.

We took friends from Australia as we wanted to give them a great dining experience. We were disappointed. The nibbles were fine, but the mains could have been better and hotter. The staff were good, but the air con was faulty and we had a pool of water behind our table, so we were eventually moved. I'm not sure what's happened to Chef's Table - before it moved it was simply the best experience anywhere in Chester, but now I feel it's lost everything it worked so hard to build and I certainly wouldn't recommend.

Venue is a nice small cozy spot in a back alley with chilled music. Sadly we ordered food and it arrived cold. We sent it back and it came back slightly warmer. Offered no apology just a shrug so that was a shame and ruined the experience.

Excellent location for Chester city centre, but tired with the deco and beds not to comfy but ok for a couple of nights, all in all a good stay, would definitely recommend.
