Small family birthday celebration - we made it despite the weather. Ate the 2-4-1 menu (Mon/Tue 5 to 8pm) - delicious all round & excellent value for money. Good service. Recommended. Would have been 5* but the dining room was cold (fire laid but not lit) & it would have been helpful if some of the car park had been cleared of snow/ice.

The pub was fairly busy which was a good sign but we managed to get a seat easily. They had an offer for 30% off mains, but even without this- I would happily pay full price. I hadn't been for a number of years but was really pleasantly surprised and would definitely go again. The food absolutely did not disappoint, and was amazing. The staff were friendly. We had a bit of a wait but it was busy and we didn't mind or notice as the food was so good. I would definitely recommend, and have already to some friends and family.

Really enjoyed our meal here. It was our first time visiting this cafe, but I have to say it wonât be our last. I have absolutely no complaints. The staff were professional, efficient and friendly. The food and drinks were exceptional and the hygiene was excellent. The place had a lovely atmosphere and you felt welcomed and not rushed. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food provided. And the menu provides something different to the other cafes in the village.

We visited today for the first time with family. We received a warm welcome and the man who showed us to our table was so friendly, made an extra effort by chatting to our children. The food was delicious, we all had the Sunday carvery, lovely fresh food, none of it dry like you get at other carveries. Lovely decor in the pub, we will definitely be back!

Booked for Christmas dinner for the family . Told to arive at 1pm at 2.30. Still hadnât received our starter. When the food did arive it was dreadful cold. Uncooked turkey red in some parts. Veg under cooked. Could hardly chew the parsnips. 4.15. Still no pudding Left at 4.45 without having desert as everyone was. Fed up And at ÂŁ80 per adult & ÂŁ 40 for children was an absolute rip off wouldnât go again

Went to the Muse for a work's party. The food was really good, and the service was quick, considering it was Mad Friday. I found the bathroom tiling to be a herringbone effect with 4mm black grout (7/10). It happened to be a Pride party, which was quite entertaining.

Afternoon tea at 3 pm , couple of people in the restaurant when I arrived it really was not very busy at all and by 3:45 we were the only people left. There was very little atmosphere considering its the run-up to Christmas, and the older man who served us made us feel like we were an inconvenience. He began sweeping up around us and it was obvious that they wanted to close so we asked what time they were closing and he said ânowâ we hadnât finished our afternoon tea , so we asked for some boxes. There were three of us. He gave us two boxes and when we asked for a third box, he was clearly put out and said there were none and therefore he gave me a couple of paper bags. All in all It was a disappointing experience , the sandwiches were mediocre on very thin slices of crusty bread, 4 slices per person which isnât really enough to fill a small child let alone an adult. The scone was very nice. The cakes - which were a slice of chocolate brownie and a slice of a carrot cake , well I didnât get to eat them because I had to take them home in a paper bag and the weather was so bad when we left the restaurant , that by the time I got to the car the bag was soaking so I ended up feeding the cakes to the birds . We were offered unlimited tea or coffee , but really only had a chance to have one because we were rushed out. We had one glass of Prosecco each at the start of the afternoon tea which was nice but lacking the extras like a strawberry . I donât really think it was value for money considering the small portion of sandwiches the general ambience or lack of , and the poor service , all that considered I thinkit was quite an expensive do at just under ÂŁ32 per person. I doubt Iâll return

Zero customer service. Expect to be served last at the bar (even if youre there before others) if you don't look a certain way. Will not come back based on being made to feel so unwelcome. Go to the Hare and Hounds where they look after all customers

The King Bill is somewhere I have started going for a little break from the world most Wednesday nights we pop up for a few drinks to break up the working week. The company is great and itâs proper Pub with nice people. The Salt & pepper Chicken needs is own review and honestly it was âWell Fitâ. Itâs hard to sum up in works but itâs just a very good pub , run by lovely people, giving back to the community with great staff and food. Highly Recommended
