The best restaurants in Horsham South East

This place is shocking, some of the worst food Iv ever had. The Donner meat looks and tastes like it just came out of the washing machine the quality of the food is nonexistent it’s cheap and Narsty. The burgers are tasteless like chewing on rubber. The sauces have had water and sugar added to them it’s horrendous and the Shish kebabs are shocking. They are only interested in taking your money, someone is seriously gonna get sick from that place. Dog food at best.

The rooms were amazing and because it was quiet we got an upgrade to the bridle sweet the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful

Thank god for new ownership after the first week next year. 20:30 on a Saturday and 8/10 taps are off - only serving Camden and Fosters. Looks like the current owners are just counting down the days…. guess i am now too! 😬

We were gifted this as a wedding present and enjoyed the tasting menu. Seated right at the windows to the pass, my husband had the perfect view into the kitchens: as an avid foodie this was a dream for him. Monica led a front of house team that were wonderful; attentive, friendly yet professional and bursting with knowledge. The array of glasses for wine and sake and the stunning cutlery were touches I had never seen before. The calm from the kitchen and the total focus from Ben Wilkinson and such a young team of chefs was incredible. However the stand out for me were the wine flights; I had the signature and my husband had the discovery. Wow!! Discovery included 2 sakes and 2 orange wines and I have found probably my favourite wine ever! It was relaxed, comfortable, stimulating, engrossing and stunning- so much more than going out for a meal; a total immersive experience. Well done to the team and thank you. The memories will live long.

The pub was heaving this Sunday lunchtime which is usually a good sign. Our second visit was every bit as good as our first. The roast lunch was excellent in boyh quality and quantity. The Harvey's Sussex bitter perfect. But the staff who keep the whole place running like a well oiled machine deserve great praise, efficient but friendly too.

Stopped at this place for some food on a long journey home. The kitchen was due to close 5 mins after we arrived, but the staff were super attentive and put our orders in. So glad we made it in time because we had some of the best pub food we've ever had. My mum and I had the sea bass risotto, it was flavourful, creamy and beautifully presented. My dad had scampi and said he thoroughly enjoyed it, they were golden and well cooked, plus the chips were perfectly crispy and fluffy! All the meals were generously portioned. The atmosphere in the pub is so lovely, and nicely decorated for Christmas. Thank you for a great experience :)

Disgusting rude staff especially the checkout staff who can't tell someone is over 30 years and challenging for ID.

Very disappointing overall. Although the service was attentive, it was clear that some staff were either new or partly trained. The food itself was not so good - portion sizes were small and poorly produced, especially the chicken main course, which was dry and tasted as if it had been kept in a warmer for some time, then hurriedly grilled, leaving an unpleasant burnt taste. Mass produced fries and "packet" sauce did not help the dish.

Beautiful pub with the friendliest staff, will be booking here again. We came for a Christmas themed meal with friends and the food was fantastic.

Stayed in a room absolutely filthy upgraded me still absolutely filthy what a disgusting hotel staff rude no refund given you'd be better off staying down the road in the bus shelter. DISGUSTING FILTHY

Delightful country pub with a wonderful ambience and delicious food. Service is always attentive but not intrusive. Every time I visit I'm made to feel at home as if I am family! Came again recently and they even remembered my dogs name. Highly recommend, particularly when there are events on. See you again soon guys!

A lovely little pub with friendly service and a well priced tasty and very filling roast

We went in on the off chance of having some pub grub.... Pizza only ... Weird... Beer was good, The tattooed guy behind the jump was friendly and the ale was nice. If you love pizza and beer, come here 👍
