We love it here and visit regularly. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and well priced

Unfortunately the pizza arrived squashed and in a heap to one side of the box. There didn't seem to be any extra toppings that i ordeted on it once i had tried to rearrange it into a round shape. I wasnt deluveted with care.

What lovely helpful people and great food. Being a wheelchair user, they came out to me, took my order advised me where to park which was safe, then brought my fish and chips to me. And what excellent food it was too. Very hot, crispy batter and non greasy chips and plenty of them Would certainly recommend this establishment. Thank you.

I recently visited this charming little café called, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady who served us with such grace and friendliness. The café itself is adorned with quaint furniture that adds to its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The coffee and tea were simply delightful, perfectly brewed and served with care. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was both hearty and satisfying. Every detail, from the presentation to the flavors, was impeccable. Bows and Tie is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.

10 family members ordered cod and chips from Mini Bertha’s today. We were a little bit nervous as we knew it had changed hands, but thought we would give it a try. We needn’t have worried, all the food and service was excellent. The fish was absolutely lovely and fresh and cooked to perfection. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. We will definitely be back!

Lovely old pub, we was staying in the area and popped in for a drink. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We only had drinks, nice beer on tap.

Had an afternoon tea deal, which was delicious and excellent value and well set up with attentive staff. However the place really needed just some music playing in the background, would really go a long way to elevate the place. There were a few people in the cafe but it was quiet chatter and it felt very sleepy.

Food is always so amazing !! Ordered from there tonight and the food is beautiful and so nice! If you live in the local area by far the best Indian takeaway in the area is.

Lovely shop right off the station full of flowers, coffee and baked goods. The carrot cake was absolutely sinful with the most dainty of edible flowers atop. A must.

Went on a cookery course, absolutely fantastic. The tuition from Paul was first class and the food we produced you would be happy to pay a lot of money for. This was a great day and I would definitely go again on a different course. If you have any interest in food either go on one of these courses or to the restaurant. Nov 2nd. Went to the restaurant this time for a family meal for 9 and it was fantastic. Food, atmosphere and service were spot on and the attention to detail in the food made the experience very special. CTC

I booked a spa day for my sisters 21 birthday, but unfortunately this wasn’t a very nice experience. The spa is extremely small and overcrowded. There were 4 loungers in the actual spa area, a small “pool”, a sauna that wasn’t hot and the “shower” was basically broken. Considering how small the space was, it seemed to be very overcrowded. At one point there were around 12-15 people in the spa area and there simply was not enough room to relax. There were two guests who kept leaving the spa area in their robes and going outside for cigarettes which ruined the experience even more as came back in stinking of smoke, I was surprised this was allowed I had booked the “changing tides” treatment and was looking forward to a massage. The therapist seemed inexperienced and I would’ve received a similar quality of massage from my partner at home. Not worth paying for at all. Changing rooms are odd, two shower cubicles and a toilet, with the open locker space big enough to fit 2 people in comfortably before getting overcrowded. On a more positive note, the spa receptionist was lovely and know each booking persons name which was a good touch and the food was decent.

Food was ok. Deep fried Camembert was delicious but to only get 5 pieces of calamari for £12 was deeply disappointing. Will take me a long time to get over that.
