The best restaurants in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

This has got to be the worse Sunday lunch that I have ever been presented with. We went to this pub after seeing the reviews, I am not sure if they are genuine because the food is most definitely not freshly cooked, it’s horrendous. The veg was tinned and luke warm, the meat, not even sure I’d refer to it as meat, was something like you would get on a frozen meal from Iceland!

Christmas eve box! Absolutely amazing. So much in it. Got 2 and 1 for vegetarian all so delicious and big enough to share with others! Thank you

Wow the food here is absolutely delicious and all freshly made. Can't fault anything here, staff were really lovely and the cafe is spotless. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. A hidden gem.

¡De lejos, el peor fish and chips que he tenido en años! El pez era delgado, pequeño y el pez era gris y picante lo que había de él. La masa estaba empapada y húmeda y como papilla debajo, lo que indica el hecho de que su grasa no está lo suficientemente caliente. Las fichas eran restos de fichas más o menos puntiagudos. ¡Las únicas cosas que eran buenas eran los guisantes mullidos tristemente! Quizás como dueños deberían hacer un viaje a Whitby y probar ‘Trenchers’ fish and chips’, ¡están en otra liga y cocinados en goteo de carne de res y SON galardonados!

Came here for a family birthday meal, it was my first time but some in our party have been several times. It was amazing. The best Mexican food I have had for years. Everyone in the group had something different and all loved what they had, not a bad dish ordered. Will 100% visit here again. Very reasonably priced as well.

Not the greatest, I don’t like triple cooked chips and teacakes were dry. We went in on the last few reviews so I think my view of great fish n chips differ from there’s.

Turpins Coffee House is an excellent place for lunch. We had a sandwich and cake, both were good. Other people were eating pies and jacket potatoes, all of which looked good too. A very clean cafe with good service.

Food average only. Batter on fish tainted with other fried items Burger hard. No real ales. A poor experience in a town boasting to be Food Capital.

'pop up food' for Xmas lights switch on was excellent. Great atmosphere, live music and good prices. Friendly staff great service

Don't Bother...dined here last night....service is pretty naff...especially when paying top restaurant prices.....I ordered brie to start..got 2 little nuggets that were goats cheese ....sent them back..then got 3 little nuggets....1 brie...1 goats cheese and I completely empty..advised it said brie on the frozen pack...even tho menu advertises everything cooked fresh from scratch...roast Beef was ok if a bit overcooked and veggies were OK..although not worth £19.50...much better places to eat in Brid although views are nice...

We held a birthday party here, and it was fabulous. We were so very well looked after and accommodated. The bar staff were friendly, and worked hard to make sure no one waited long. Huge thanks for a brilliant night in a fabulous pub! Cheers!

Not visited Leon's for a long while, it used to be a favourite cafe of ours. We won't be visiting again. Food was very average. We had scampi chips and peas, poor quality scampi, frozen chips and peas. Expected better quality from Leons. (have had better in wetherspoons at a fraction of the cost). Feel a bit cheated wasting our money!

Whilst on holiday near hear we visited several times! Great beer and food, very friendly staff and locals! The landlord always took time to chat to me… thank you for welcoming a couple of southerners and their dog in!

They no longer serve food, so this needs to be made public notice! When I asked the guy behind the bar he said he could not do anything! A party of Four, left very disappointed... Customers beware.
