The best restaurants in Hambleton Yorkshire and The Humber

After shopping in Primark needed respite and found it in Muffin Break. We had flat whites and cheese scones. The flat whites were great the scones were ok and all great value. Next time we’re in the Hill Street Centre we’ll definitely be calling in again.

Although nothing awful here (relatively clean except for food remnants left on tables for long periods of time), nothing stood out. The prices are high I think because it is convenient if you are staying at the park. I can't fault the accommodations here though, just give the little restaurant area a miss. Took the kids to the arcade...Change machine wasn't working and the girls at the desk didn't have any change. It didn't spoil our day as we just jumped in the car and went travelling to all the beautiful places a short drive away. Tried the cafe again for chips and milkshake...nothing wrong with them at all, just a bit pricey for what they were. Accommodation and location made up for the standard cafe/bar/amusements experience.

Ordered on app at 4pm for delivery at 7pm and was then told at 6.15pm it wud b 2 hours away and no refund for 2-3days annoyed doesn’t even come close. I am not a argumentative person but I was so so mad and starving lol

It’s not Jackie at Trumbull’s any more. Very rude women on the till, food very average would not recommend this place there are much better places in Northallerton will never go again and check what you pay for is what you get.

Good food but service very slow

Visited the garden centre this afternoon to look at your Christmas display and popped into the cafe, The service received was great and Dan could not do enough for you, he was very chatty and while I was there I saw him assisting people to tables who couldn’t manage to carry their trays. He is a credit to you.

Couldn’t fault at all, the food was excellent as always, drive through staff not very friendly but wouldn’t stop us calling again.

Food is always undercooked from here. Every few months I give them another try thinking it will have improved but not, uncooked wedges and like warm soggy chicken strips which both had to go in the air fryer. Pizzas barely any cheese. Not worth the money at all from this branch

Basic take away but really good eats. Bast chippy in town., a little gem.

3 young staff with no customer service! No eye contact, no smile nothing to welcome you at all. No plates for food eaten inside cafe! No tables cleared nor cleaned staff just stood falling between customer The toilets a disgrace. Hand dryer broken no hand towels, no toilet paper plus floor littered very disappointed..

From the outside, this looks like a pleasant pub but the inside is very disappointing. The place really needs a refurb because it is furnished with a mismatch of furniture, etc. Nobody expects much from a Wetherspoon's, but this place offers even less. Service itself was pleasant and efficient but the food itself was really badly done. A simple scampi and chips was rendered unpleasant because the cook seemed to have overheated stale oil, giving everything an unpleasant carbonised taste. The frozen scampi had been dumped into too-hot oil, meaning that the scampi were watery and mushy when bitten into. The waiting staff work very hard and it would have solved nothing to have moaned at the time.

We visited the store 16th December. The women serving us was very rude and did not know what allergens were in the food. She was only interested in getting us out of the store as quick as possible. Greggs please re-train your staff on allergies and customer service.

This was a great place to get a good burger but my last 2 order months apart have not been good. The latest today 15/9/24 for a total of just shy of £80 was burnt burgers and chips of which most went in the bin so I will not be ordering again
