POWERFUL CHINESE FOOD ***** we were staying in the area for the weekend and thought we would try for the first time. Hands down some of the most flavoursome Chinese food I’ve had in a long time! Such a shame I don’t live near this place as it would easily become my regular. Look forward to coming back! We got take away but the place was very welcoming and nice when I went to collect. Keep up the good work 🤤

The set menu was advertised for 2 courses .consisting of starters and a main For £18 in between 7-8pm We ordered and the food was good Bill came and we wasn't given the set menu price...because we failed to tell the waitress ...upon questioning. The bill we was told we would have received smaller portions on the set menu ...not sure how you get away with that My partner had 4 scaĺops for starters ...she advised that it would have been 2 on the set menu... Im puzzled how do you advertise "starters & mains Yet don't tell people it's smaller portions

Not amonst the best in the area for quality and price, unfortunately. Staff were pleasant and friendly, though, and the shop appeared to be well-kept and clean.

This is a fantastically run amazing fish and chip establishment . J & Kim are so hospitable and go above and beyond to accommodate. I turned up at 8:10pm and they rightly had closed but very kindly took my order. I will make sure I am on time next time. As a southern softie this gave me a constant reminder of why this east end boy moved up north. This is a gem not to me missed. Bravo. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🥰

Great fish & Chip shop, fish cooked to order. Lovely peice of fish good prices. 👍🍟⚽ Friendly staff, and he's also a Leeds fan, so had a good chat about football. ⚽️👏 MOT, ALAW

Really disappointing customer service. I ordered and paid for a game pie for Christmas back in November. Unfortunately we didn't pick it up in time for the bakery's early closure at 12.30 Christmas Eve (despite closing time stating 3 pm on web). We contacted bakery as soon as they opened after Christmas to pick it up as it would still be ok to eat. Only to be told they'd EATEN it!!!! We asked if we could have a credit to purchase something else. They refused to do this. I won't be ordering anything ever again from Secret Bakery. Poor communication and staff clearly eat customers' paid for items if you're too late to collect!!!

Delightful dinner, superb & good value menu, excellent service, nothing not to like. Mia on reception was extremely helpful. Looking forward to a return.

Mao's Thai take away was a massive treat, but due to conflict between landlord and tenant closed now, a real shame.

A great well stocked farm shop but let down by the service at the cafe. It is so slooow!! The staff are polite but not attentive. I have used this cafe twice in recent weeks and both times the wait to order was too long.

Lovely food and very friendly, helpful staff. Always welcoming. Lovely light cafe with plenty of space.
