The best restaurants in Liversedge and Gomersal Kirklees Yorkshire and The Humber

Had booked the Christmas dinner,two courses and a drink a little while ago.. I'd recently read some new trip advisor reviews so went today with a little trepidation..The café wasn't overly busy,they are obviously short staffed... however the meal was absolutely delicious, lot's of very well cooked turkey with excellent selection of vegetables etc.. really enjoyed the Christmas pudding with large jug of wonderful custard!!..The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially the young man who served us and gave us the red cabbage recipe.. he'd made it that morning!!..Have visited this garden centre and café for many years,so really hope they can keep going... Today was a good day..

26 people booked for Xmas type lunch.food poor,mainly bland veg,tasteless meats,service poor,won't be going again.landord came round collecting payments before any food was served,,must have thought this group of pensioners were going to do a runner !

Very reasonable food for the cost. Menu variable and there are daily deals on the board. Special 2 for a tenner meals and a good children's menu.

Asked for some tap water as passing on a run, lady asked if I was a “customer” - I said no and she looked like I’d asked for the moon on a stick!! Well it’s 100% made sure I will never be one! Jeez what’s up with folk?! Sad times when water is at a premium 😳🙄

I have had some bad curry’s over the years but this was by far the worst, we ordered and paid online, after realising we ordered wrong I phoned them to alter it within 5 mins of ordering, they was extremely rude saying I couldn’t change it, and he then proceeded with a load of abuse to me often using f#cling during the conversation, the curry turned up 10 mins later, the chips where cold and the curry was just awful and not edible at all. Never use again and no wonder they have such bad ratings

It was so bad 😢 Sorry to say but I’m not gona order from there again
