Poppy kept us well supplied with our drinks and so helpful and helped us pick our drinks so lovely and made our day X great day had by all

Went for an office Christmas party and the staff were fantastic and the food lovely. Couldn't have asked for more as we were a large party.

We had a family meal at the long store yesterday, we were a large table and the staff and food were impeccable. They catered to dietary requirements, they were friendly and no request was too much trouble for these guys. Charlie and the team were outstanding. This was our last meal as a family before 4 of us head back to Brisbane, so thank you for making it a memorable one. Food was absolutely delicious 😋- catch you next time!!

I Have travelled up to Cheltenham several times for work now and on my first visit I asked the lady at the hotel where was good for food and drinks- she recommended the tavern and I’ve been many times since. Firstly: food is very very good! I’ve tried most of the menu now and it’s up there with the best! Only once have I been disappointed with the service time and the quality, price is reasonable considering quality is so good and the portion sizes are very satisfying! It’s a trendy place and there is always a nice vibe in there, with an eclectic crowd- but still manages to be very welcoming, dining on your own can be a bit intimidating sometimes but not in here good selection of drinks, aspinals On tap and they do £5 cocktails which although I’ve not tried they do look amazing! They also do a Czech beer which is a nice change from usual beer which frequents the taps on most places Roast dinners, Mac and cheese, sausage and mash- all spot on and love the pork belly bites. Only gripe is (I know this won’t go down well) is that it’s a dog friendly place- as horrible as it sounds I don’t like eating food being served where animals roam, I’m nervous around dogs and one of the very few who doesn’t love them- but that’s not a complaint, I think it’s good that dog walkers can stop in without leaving the dog outside or at home. See you again in a couple of weeks for some more good food!

Food was really good, cheese pulls were crazy, definitely worth it

It’s our go to place for a catch up with friends I’ve a lovely meal. We don’t have to shout, there’s plenty of room and the food is delicious

We visited for Sunday roast, the wellington was delicious! We also loved the brownies, which were very tasty. Overall, a great meal!

Ordered cheesy chips but got plain chips but still charged for cheesy chips

Came with my girlfriend for a birthday meal, both steaks cooked as we asked for, food all round great and Melissa really looked after us, we will be back…

We regularly pop into The Chapel for a drink, bite to eat & relax. Last night was no exception. A warm glowing fire greeted us from the cold night outside. We had some great chunky chips too!

Really bad service & disorganised. Two young girls working who clearly needed some supervision on how to run the place. We were only customers in shop, party of 8. Food was brought out at different times with over 1hr 45mins between the first persons food & the last person's being brought to the table. Waffles & pancakes were brought out ages before savoury food & drinks. Waited to eat savoury first not expecting it to take so long & therefore waffles & pancakes were cold. Will not waste my money going there again. Very disappointed.
