Spent just under 30 pounds on a food place I use to love, this order was terrible and inedible, food was cold considering i live 8 minutes away aswell its a complete joke and definitely should not be this cold. (onion&mushroom bajjis, half tandoori chicken, naan, rice all cold. the lamb tikka was the worst I've ever had! Chips was like they was still frozen! The only thing a little warm was the chicken tikka massala. And to top it off it was the first time my partner trying his first Indian which was embarrassing safe to say he won't have one ever again. This place use to be great now it's disgusting

Not great. This place gets the highest review score in Wantage, so we gave it a whirl on a Saturday night. There was one other table of 4 in an otherwise empty restaurant. Despite this, no staff approached us for 20 minutes and we had to ask if we could place our orders in the end. The food arrived half an hour later. I had King Prawn Biryani, the other half a Sag Aloo. Both were cold. Mine had lots of rice, a small bowl of biryani, 3 or 4 king prawns but MOUNTAINS of peas - not an ingredient I've even noticed in 35 years of eating the dish. Both dishes were cold, but at least the other half's tasted of Sag Aloo - mine was more like gravy than biryani. The chapatis were very thick, floury and salty and as such, inedible. We were given no opportunity to comment on the food and indeed had to approach the kitchen area to pay, such was the absence of any service. Easily the worst Indian meal I've ever had, with the worst service too.

Lovely mushroom chow mein and pineapple fried rice. Only issue was parking to collect.

Had the Watalappam cake as it sounded really interesting. I have since read it's a very popular dessert and wow, it was lovely! Sweet and treacly, and for me, had the texture of a bread and butter pudding. Loved it. The ice cream was the perfect accompaniment. Even if you order food from other stalls (I did) you must try this for dessert!

Nos alojamos una noche en este hotel. en una fantástica posición en el centro de la ciudad a sólo 3 minutos a pie del teatro que visitábamos.

Really POOR chow mein Just had a Singapore chow mein as a brand new customer. Usually go to Dragon in London Road near Oakhill. I'm afraid the takeaway from Furama was awful in comparison with Dragon. Virtually zero meat and shrimp content, no beansprouts at all, hardly any onions and lots and lots of horrible fine noodles. Also it did NOT taste great. The Singapore chow mein from Dragon is a million times better and comes in a bigger box., albeit costing another £1.10 but worth it!!. I will NEVER go to Furama again for food. You've LOST a brand new customer!! Update to owners response........This shambles of a Chinese only informed me they did fine noodles when I went to pick up my Singapore Chow mein which had already been prepared...I should have WALKED AWAY without paying, but I said i would give it a try....NEVER AGAIN

The service I received this evening was absolutely dreadful, ordered at 5 pm for the delivery to arrive at 6:50 pm, 40 minutes after the time it was scheduled to be delivered. We live approximately 2 minutes from the restaurant and instead they decided to send the delivery driver on a goose chase to leave our food to go cold. After calling them numerous times and them ensuring us it was 5 minutes away on three separate occasions the food then arrived stone cold and the driver and restaurant all decided to start playing the blame game with each other. No offer of any sort of rectification and they were happy for us to send a £45 order back. Extremely rude individuals running the phone line, they kindly informed me the manager was out so it’s quite clear to see what happens then, the place turns to a real mess. Will not be using ever again.
