Tried thin crust pepperoni jalapeño pizza and loved it last order of 2024 and first meal of 2025 thanks berko pizza 🍕

Can’t really say much about the food as we didn’t get that far. Booked up months ago for my family for Boxing Day. Got an email on Christmas morning saying sorry not doing food Boxing Day but I’m more than welcome to come in for a round of drinks and spend my deposit money. Laughable

under new management from October 2024 so ignore previous reviews it's a great village location we didn't eat here so can't comment good atmosphere

Went on a Saturday for a birthday celebration we had room just off of the bar FANTASTIC. We were allowed to decorate this area. It was at lunch time and the staff were very busy we had our own birthday cake but forgot the candles the staff supplied one and a large knife and small plates WOW what a place. The food was the best as well 10 out of 10 all around 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Lively pub next to the canal serves good beer and food. What more do you want.

Spent nearly all day here with friends, friendly and attentive staff. Food is great. They have different beers on throughout the year. Always good value…

Another fantastic visit today. The staff are friendly and the pub was clean and tidy. We came in after a Xmas eve walk with the children and treated them to a kids Candymania pudding. The service was prompt and the kids loved their treat. This is our local pub and we use it regularly, we are always impressed with the quality of the food at such a reasonable price. The service and friendly staff always make our visit worthwhile. The landlady and her staff are all doing a fantastic job.

Booked table for 4 for birthday dinner, after a recomendatio. no greeter to show us where our table was, tried to asked a waitress who was too busy to stop, bingo going on as well as loud music, not a great start, barman showed us table in the end, who was helpful throughout re allegies etc. I had the steak and venison pie which was good, the same couldn't be said of the veg, which appeared to have been left under a heat lamp too long and was rubbery, you could pick the mash up in one lump but what was really disappointing was dogs yapping and barking throughout. why are dogs allowed in restaurant. First visit, won't be returning.

Over priced, unnecessarily mean portions, quality certainly not living up to the pretentious descriptions of the food, limited vegetarian options

went from dinner with the family tonight and i must say we had a lovely time from the moment we got there we was met at the door by the male manager who showed us to our table and our waiters was Jenny who was lovely and the food was nice we loved the selection of meat there was and the veg was full and looked fresh. we will be coming back again soon
