Very relaxed staff attentive, food fresh and hot, all meals show calories content, definitely worth a visit for a breakfast.

Best food in Tilbury lovely coffee and helpful staff and such a clean place

Visited on 31st December @ 4 pm for dinner with my husband, daughter and partner, it was busy, but not overloaded. The food left a lot to be desired and not up to the usual standard I..e., the mixed grill x 2 ordered had burnt sausages, 2 tiny pieces of gammon (instead of the usual decent 1 piece), the chicken melt was ok, the burger was completely underwhelming. Having visited at other times during the year and had a decent experience both in staff welcome, service and food. I don’t think we will bother again. PS The waitress had just come on shift (she told us), was miserable and only smiled when she was handed a tip, which would have been more, if she had been more friendly.

Love the sir Henry’s always a great atmosphere and amazing staff. I booked for a Christmas dinner with family as won’t see over Christmas and enquiry was dealt with asap and was able add extra a few days later without a problem. I forgotten the lady name who served us but would like to say how amazing she was! One family member had allergies and all questions regarding food was dealt with professionally and could not fault the service we received from our waitress so to the lady who served the Dauti family of 11 thank you so much. Definitely recommend the roasts got so much food couldn’t finish but for the price and quality it was nice. Definitely be back again next year for an early Christmas meal with family again as this was the second year running. Highly recommend the sir Henry’s!

The tea room looks cute from outside but sadly the quality of the food does not match the decor. It was cold inside, the coffee machine was not working and not all items on the menu were available.

We had an amazing fish chips was so lovely and the staff was brilliant too will differently come back and for the gesst beer 10 out of 10 come and see.

Had a lovely Boxing Day meal for my daughter’s 21st for 19 people. Food was delicious and great value. Staff were all lovely and they even gave her a complementary bottle of Prosecco which was really lovely, Thank you. Venue was cosy and was a great atmosphere.

Regular Sunday pint with mates we didn't even move off the table today, Liza table service was amazing like being at a five star restaurant having your glass topped up and even through we were only drinking and the front restaurant was business we still got looked after so well, just wanted to say thank you. Gooner the dog even got a water bowl and a pigs ear, great pub great people.

We went to the Lakeside #Wimpy today and we were very disappointed. The portion sizes are ridiculous, as for the pricing that was extornate for 2 eggs and a few fries plus a burger and fries with 2 milkshakes, it came to £30 for basically two kids meal sizes. . They’ll end up going bust if that’s what they continue to offer. I don’t mind paying abit more than other burger outlets if the food better but I’m afraid we’ll just stick with B/King or McDs.

Fantastic food since the refurb and nice friendly service. If you want the harvester experience this is not for you but if you are after a great British pub experience do not hesitate!

Sooooo impressed! Came here around 6 months ago and was shocked at how bad it was! Everything sticky and gross… however came tonight to give it another try. Really pleasantly surprised! Manager greeted us at the door and was shown to our table. I’m a vegan and the food was really good and had a meat alternative for me! My boyfriend isn’t and he said his carvery was great, meat was great! Started talking to the manager and he said there has been a change in management which makes sense with how much better the place is! Will definitely be returning! As a vegan I prefer this place over a Tobey any day!

Had a family birthday meal here and the food was wonderful and so were the staff. Beautiful restaurant and would definitely recommend.

What an unexpected pleasure ! Wonderful friendly staff , the pub itself is so original and you can feel the history , see the history, fabulous, and then walk off the wonderful food along the sea wall and take in the marvel of tilbury fort Worth the visits ? Oh yeah 👌♥️ Ps ! Mac and cheese was to die for ♥️ Thanks Chef David it’s been pleasure

Service wasn’t too bad today although busy but why advertise Sunday roast if you’re going to sell out after 1.5 hours - you should plan better
