The best restaurants serving British food in Redcar and Cleveland North East

What a lovely little Gem in the centre of Redcar. We were looking to have lunch and half of our party were vegetarian and vegan. This gave us all lots of options and choice (which is so rare) and the quality, food and service even on a busy day was amazing - go and treat yourself and support a local business - loved it x

Visited today for the first time, what a lovely piece of chocolate cake and a delicious bowl of soup, made very welcome, will certainly be back when next in the area

Proper Yorkshire fish and chips from the lovely North Riding village of Brotton in the Cleveland district of Yorkshire. Highly recommended

Exceptional produce. Pies have the shortest, crumbly crust, plenty of filling and amazing flavours. Possibly the best pie shop in Britain. Apart from the Redcar outlet, there is another shop at Saltburn Victorian Station. Scotch eggs of various flavours with perfectly cooked eggs. Recommend this company to all.

Fab first visit,everything is gluten free so dont have to worry bout cross contamination with being celiac.i had the parmo and also passion fruit cheesecake amazing.

I recently visited The Queen's Arms Pub, and I have to say it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely outstanding — each dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and served with perfect portion sizes. I highly recommend trying their parmo perfectly tender, and the sides were fresh and satisfying. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. Every time we visit Saltburn, we always come here for breakfast. Great service and very friendly staff. Food is always fantastic and without a doubt, the best coffee in Saltburn!

Pub has a traditional and friendly feel to it. Really nice food and good value. Dog friendly as well. Would recommend.

Staff very friendly and accommodating, the decoration and atmosphere very nice, but the main reason for going the food was a little bit style over content. Ordered the sourdough bread salmon&cream cheese, the bread very dry(I know sourdough can be but this was more like stale) also lacking in cream cheese so all round very dry. The bacon (+egg for extra £1.80) sandwich was very thick and fatty and had a bit of a “wet dog” smell to it and cost £7.30. Cappuccino was nice but got drowned in cocoa so was more like a mocha.

We were looking for a good cup of coffee and a warm, friendly environment on a very cold day, so we hit lucky when we saw this wonderful cafe! From the minute we smelled the coffee as we opened the door, we knew we had made the right decision. We chose olives, carrot cake and lemon cake, and loved the coffee so much that we had a second cup. Friendly helpful staff too. Would highly recommend.
