We stopped at The Royal Oak for lunch with 4 adults and 2 children. They managed to fit us in next to a roaring fire, The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was tasty and very reasonable. We dont usually have a pudding but all 6 of us did and it was enjoyed by all. The carpark is small and behind the pub. Very popular.

Lovely Sunday lunch today, £21 for a 3 course meal is great value and yet the food was really good too! Efficient service also worth a mention.

Their cream cake is absolutely divine – light, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The carrot cake is just as impressive, moist with a hint of spice and topped with a rich, velvety frosting. You can tell they use quality ingredients. This is a shop with beach things and souvenirs. It has a cafe and you can sit and watch the fashions with a cup of coffee . It has a linked toilet which makes it convenient. The owner has great knowledge of Dover and is always welcoming

Great place to go for Great service, super food and reasonable prices. Doing my bit for the workers out there, go and get some great food even better when the daughter is cooking. Don't tell him that though.

The food was good, but they needed to get some heating the place was freezing. When all the customers are wearing coats, it says a lot Doubt we'll be back till the weather warms up tbh

Had a Christmas lunchtime party on the 13th, . Food was fantastic no plastic meat, lots of everything piping hot excellent service, waitress was so welcoming , would definitely recommend to friends.

Seems beautiful from the outside, but it's very much a hostel in a cramped old building. It does the job, as the beds were good, but the shared bathroom was not a good experience. Pretty sure the person that checked us in was drunk/high af.

Fabulous food and service all around, you can tell the chef here is passionate as he puts a lot of love into what he does, thank you for always looking after your customers! x

Great, old fashioned fish & chips. Hand-cut chips, (at least they certainly appear so) & beautifully battered juicy fish.

We had a delicious lunch sitting in the courtyard of the restaurant. A very varied menu and friendly service. It is definitely on my list of 'go to' places for a meal out.
