Popped in with a couple of friends for lunch but had a full English which was absolutely delicious. The guy whoâs front of house is also the pastry chef and we tried 5 of his different homemade pastries and very much enjoyed them all. If youâre looking for a Sunday lunch, itâs the wrong place but for breakfast / lunch, itâs excellent. We will definitely pop in again.

Had a meal at Romney Bay House Restaurant and it was exceptional. A delicious array of canapes awaited, including some red pepper pearls, to accompany our pre-dinner drinks, before we were called into Dinner. A fish course, of sea bass, was our first course, which was moist and tasty, followed by Duck, again, cooked to perfection, next up was a fresh, light pastry fruit tartlet, accompanied by cinnamon ice cream, was next. The final course was a selection of cheeses, all chosen to compliment the meal and not too heavy or overpowering in taste. Coffee (or tea) and Petit fours were then served in the lounge area, to complete the meal perfectly. The service was attentive and all dietary needs were requested at the time of booking, and reiterated before the food began to be served. Highly recommended and we felt very good value, based on the quality and presentation of the meal, which was certainly en par with Michelin Starred and Rosette restaurants, that we have visited.

These premises ar run by a lovely family who produce and sell bakery goods of the highest quality BUT various other sites give misleading information, they are not a restaurant nor are they permanently closed. They are operating very nicely in the High Street, Hythe. Producing bakery of the highest quality.

What a great little cafe.I remembered how good it was from last year.So we went back again when we were in town. Great home cooked food at very reasonable prices. The liver & bacon was so good. The rest of the food served was spot on.The cafe is run by a great couple.Which made for a good family meal. One thing for sure we Willie back to eat.Next time we are in Dymchurch. Give it a go.Its worth it.

Had breakfast here this morning, it was absolutely delicious! Great menu with a good variety of choices at excellent value. Our food came quickly, piping hot and good sized portions. The food was also of a good quality and cooked to perfection, especially the eggs. The stand out part though was the excellent staff giving a fantastic warm friendly welcome, prompt table service (despite being really busy) and going above and beyond to interact with all customers. As a pub & restaurant landlord & landlady, from our point of view, this place has the perfect balance of everything which has clearly made it THE place to go for breakfast in Folkestone. We will definitely be back! đ

Fantastic food and wonderful service from a great team! Had read the excellent reviews online and was excited to eat here and it didn't disappoint! From the moment we entered our waitress was over with a warming reception of the drinks on offer and reccomendend the wines by the glass (the red rjoca was great!) And continued her lovely demeanor throughout evening and even gave us her reccomendendations for around folkestone. On top of this the food was all amazing and such high quality all presented with serious skill! The eels and beetroot salad were a surprising winner and such fresher than anything we have had before. We also had the olives, bread, croquettes, seabass and profiteroles to finish and enjoyed them all. The food was also very good value for the quality and service. Would have a must dine for anyone and particularly foodies visiting folkestone
