What a lovely cafe, you can relax here, and talk. Staff are wonderful, and it’s such a good idea to have an option to donate money to give the homeless a chance of a Hot meal.

Visit here often for a meal and a go on roulette. Always a good night. The restaurant manager is lovely so friendly and caring. All staff very professional and content. Can't wait to return. The food is so nice as well.

Not much seems to have been going on here for ages. The Fandom formula was a bit niche and after being hit by a fire a year or two ago never really got back the occasional momentum it had before. The place is now in the final couple of weeks of reworking and reconditioning the interior and the the entirely new management have explained that they intend to open later February 2020 as a dog friendly bar and adjacent room serving a modern twist on pub grub classics. Sounds interesting. These premises have long been very convenient to users of the pontoons at this end of Sutton Harbour. The first restaurants on this site twenty years ago and more were very successful and enjoyable places to use.

Found this little cafe whilst walking the dog and definitely found a little gem. Both of us had the early bird full English which comes with coffee or tea, for less than tenner for two. All cooked fresh and not at all greasy. Staff very friendly and dog got a free sausage. Now can't walk dog pass the cafe without pulling towards the door. Other meals on menu very well priced.

I have to say, I went into lanterns restaurant, and it was my first time in there the service was absolutely brilliant and friendly the food in there. Oh my God, so delicious. Even my family, I'm friends said exactly the same. I would love to go back there again.

WHAT MONSTER BURGERS!!!!! Amazing place it is!!!!! We went on Saturday 2nd November and its fantastic!!!! Tastes very fresh!!!!! A lot more better!! McDonalds etc does not taste like theirs etc If Cap'n Japers have pictures of Jasperizers etc YOU WILL EAT A MASSIVE BURGER!! Sadly you see a massive burger in McDonalds, Burger King etc but its not a Massive Burger in real life!! But Cap'n Jaspers serves the correct size, taste etc Their hot drinks tastes outstanding too!! Highly recommended to all!!! Compliments to the chefs etc We will definitely be returning!!!!!!!

Really friendly staff and atmosphere. They don't serve meals but you can buy it at takeaways next door and bring it to the pub to eat.

I recently hired out the cellar bar for my partners surprise birthday and it was amazing!! Jo was absolutely brilliant at helping me organise and she was very responsive to any questions I had. The venue itself was lovely. Everything I was looking for! Staff were good and the bar was fully stocked. Highly recommend using the Cellar Bar!

For a large bacon roll 2 pieces was a bit tight.

Two Lovely polite lads named Alfie and Matt served us up. Mighty scrans are sold at this gaff, truly a staple of Plymouth night out munch. The staff here have it running like a well oiled food machine. Fun, unique place with lots of character

No nonsense old school pasty bakery. They are always absolutely delicious. Drop in every time I'm in Plymouth.
