The best restaurants serving British food in England

Really well considered menu choices, plenty for veggies to enjoy and quite simply a pleasure to dine there. Service very attentive without being in your face. Really couldn't fault it. I will be back! Soon!

This place absolutely blew me away, it definitely comes into my top 3 spa’s in the UK. The facilities are gorgeous, the layout central around the pool just feels right? The staff were super friendly & it’s set in such a serene location. Treatments were brilliant & it was gorgeous to have your own little hut. A little on the pricey side but if you go you’ll see exactly why that is. I’ll be back for sure.

We booked for an early Xmas Lunch and had a good meal. Of note the attention and service were excellent, the choices adequate, portion size was about adequate. However, the food quality was not as good as I expected, which then made the value and cost expensive for what it was. the comfort was satisfactory, and the decor pleasant. Unfortunately it wasn't as 'special' as I'd been led to believe, and for me didn't really tick any boxes to want to return, or recommend to others.

Lovely place in picturesque surroundings, delicious food well presented with efficient and friendly staff.

Closed down on the market hope they sell and someone open all year around other than just for the summer season it's a waste of a prime spot if it doesn't get put to good use

Fantastic, we had one night here the room was very clean, the staff so helpful and the evening meal and breakfast absolutely delicious, we can’t wait to go again

Fantastic stop over for us in our motorhome before an early morning tunnel crossing. Great food, service and live music too! Wish we lived closer!

My cousins treated me to Christmas dinner. It was excellent

Excellent place. Friendly staff. Fresh tasty food . Great coffee! Had a meal last night in a group . The steaks were cooked exactly how we asked for them. Scallops were so fresh. Everyone said it was the best meal out. Highly recommend!

People are lovely and service is great but the food is brutal.

My family and I had Sunday lunch at The Mill at Botley. It was my mums birthday and on arrival she was given a complimentary glass of Prosecco and at the table waiting for her was a birthday card. These were a very nice touch... It’s a shame the roast dinner at a price of £18.95pp only came with 2 roast potatoes and 1 parsnip.

Best spirits and cocktails in Sheffield. Fantastic food and a non stop schedule of live jazz. What more is there to say? Sheffield's Best kept secret :)
