This cafe is so friendly with tasty Homemade cakes and a wonderful menu with genuine Nepal cuisine.
The owners Erish and Gita are so friendly and welcoming. They are a dog friendly cafe, and my dog absolutely loves it in there. They do food and drinks to take away, or eat in
Highly recommend this lovely cafe. Coffee is wonderful and the Carrott cake is to die for.
Give it a try, you certainly won't be disappointed
We arrived in Bakewell for an overnight stay and was searching for some pastries to take back to our room and came across this wonderful bakery, The Cornish Bakery in Bakewell. What a wonderful pleasant visit . The person who served us is called Ayr. What a lovely young man so helpful kind and pleasant
The best carrot and walnut cake! Very friendly and homely. Perfect for dog owners and cake lovers alike. We'll definitely be back soon, for lunch. Thank you
Unit 1 Thorngate House St Swithins Square, England
This new restaurant/take away is brilliant. All home made from sandwiches and cakes to full English breakfasts. I had the Sausage and Bacon roll, which comes with proper Lincolnshire Sausages. The roll was stuffed and extreemly tasty. The staff were bubbly and friendly. I will be returning at least once a week for my breakfast and hopefully more meals inthe future. Highly recommend. When I popped in around 10:30am the restaurant was packed, not a single seat available. I only wanted takeaway anyway and the service was fast. This new place will be one I frequently visit and so should you.....
Tasty food and friendly staff. Reasonable prices too. Think my breakfast was the Green on Brown, should have taken a picture but too greedy and wanted to taste! Sourdough, avocado, spinach, poached egg and asparagus. It’s a must try! My family who were visiting enjoyed it too thank you. I’ll definitely be back.
Ordered salad boxes and jacket potatoes for our office lunch. Absolutely perfect. Both were delicious and received great feedback from staff. Every item was labelled with the name which made it so much easier giving out the food. Would definitely recommend if you want good food for the office lunch!
A terrific Vegetarian/Vegan eatery with a lovely selection of foods on the menu. So spoilt for choice it’s difficult to decide.
The eatery is very clean and staff are delightful.
Check opening times before visiting
The bread is stunning and the cakes are gorgeous. We always get a small plait wrap, rolls and a loaf. I can recommend the lunchtime rolls & they do a lunch box for children. So in summer holidays, treat the kids to a sandwich, shaped iced biscuit (the butterflies look nice).
I can highly recommend this bakery
Wishing to lunch out yesterday (Monday) we chose Friary Arms after reading the great reviews. However I'd failed to notice they're closed on Monday. But when we went in at just before 1pm and saw the place was crowded we assumed all was well. We were soon told by a very miserable chap that they were closed on Mondays and this was a private booking. We were surprised, of course, and jokingly asked if there was room for just two more, and he said, most unpleasantly, 'I've already told you....' There was no need for his attitude, which was quite upsetting, and we won't be going there again.
Apologies for the delay in reviewing! Absolutely brilliant breakfast; delicious, fresh, served hot, fantastic staff and very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back next time we are in St. Ives
A really lovely little restaurant. Serves very nice home made food. Staff are fab and the food is so tasty. It's always busy and just such a lovely friendly traditional place. Mine and my best friends favourite spot for lunch
