The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Bolton North West

Ordered a takeaway on Uber. Arrived in good time. Very tasty but, seemingly more prevalent these days, all sauce and hardly any meat. All considered, disappointed.

Tried their sweet and sour pork Cantonese style and fried rice. Tried the spareribs too. Everything was very authentic, tasty, and delicious. Piping hot when I got the food. They even gave me a bag of complimentary prawn crackers. Their service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Absolutely disgusting. Delivered food that was cold wasn’t fit for human consumption , the food was delivered at 8:40 from an order placed at 6:15 straight from the seat of a car in a box, no warm bag or anything. I will be reporting these to the councils food standards. I have had bad take sways before but this was on another level, nothing was edible or even warm

Since finding this place we wont order from anywhere else! Never had a bad delivery and really good portions for price! Love the chicken salt and pepper box!

We decided to make use of an Uber Eats promotion order & we wanted Chinese type food so we gave this a try.We ordered large mixed boxes at £9.50 each which will include 2 x starters and 2 x mains.The food was very tasty and didn't leave that greasy after feeling you quite often find when having takeaways, it also had a kick in terms of quite spicy even the mild dishes but that's ok as we expected it.Our only slight niggle is you don't get a lot portion size however we understand that quality is important and was great quality.All in all would recommend.

On the 25/2/24 at approximately 1145AM I made an order via Uber Eats to order food whiles I was on my lunch break however the delivery driver got to my address at approximately 1244PM which I was not available as I had the the address to go back to work as I’d advised Uber on Ubers customer support. I requested a refund from Uber but was denied. I know this has nothing to do with the takeaway however I think that it’s important that my poor customer experience is shared.

Well. We ordered our food Mixed starter , special curry and egg fried rice Total delivery was £27 I did expect some free prawn crackers which you get from every Chinese when you usually order over £15-20 so I phoned them and said (which I'm only just saying) my food was cold and we have no prawn crackers. They said we do not do Free prawn crackers so I suggested they sent some out when people spend £20 as a gesture. Oh no we don't do that and your food was hot when it left here. We can't do anything for you they said. Well very disappointing and will not be using there services ever again. How very rude. Avoid this place if possible and go golden harvest which is far superior. Be warned people all these want is to take your hard earned money off you for a extortionate price then when delivered don't care. Disgusting

Did not receive food after spending £50 then restaurant shut and refused to take responsibility, do not order from this restaurant

This was the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. I ordered a 10 inch starter box which was supposed to contain a mixture of starters. Sesame prawn on toast, pancake rolls, dry spare ribs, salt and pepper chicken and salt pepper chips and a tub of curry at £2.50. What we got was 2 prawn on toast, 4 pancake rolls, no spare ribs, chicken balls the size of my thumb nail 2 small battered pieces of chicken and vast amount of chips to make up the box. We also got a few slices of thin onion and green pepper. No sight of any chillies that was supposed to be the salt and pepper of the box. I had to ring them up and tell them we had no spare ribs, they said they had a new chef and they would send me some, which they did. All this for the princely sum of £28. The worst £28 I have ever spent. Needless to say we will never be ordering from Sansham ever again

Called in for a chicken curry and boiled rice, we also had a salt and pepper wings starter. Will not be rushing back there, the curry was more than half the tub onion. The curry was like jelly, it was set in the tub. The wings were over cooked and tasted old as though they had been recooked. Such a shame as this pave was ok at one time.

I came to this place with my wife and the food,staff and everything was TERRIBLE! Never coming again

Had to throw the meal away. Looked very off and was very slimy. Had to order KFC instead. Waste of money. Yes its a bad review. To the business.... step up your game.
