The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

My son ordered a takeaway which included prawns, in the morning he was having severe cramps with vomiting and has been ill since. I would assume by this that the prawns were not fully cooked.Would not feel safe ordering again.

Awful Chinese take away I never had. Disappointed as I want to treat myself, Will not buy it again.

Firstly, i have to say, i have just come on here to leave a review and i am shocked at some of the previous reviews. My wife and i have just returned home from a wonderful evening at The Mayflower. This isn't our first time here but i forgot to leave a review the last time, but this time this place blew us away and i had to. The food and service this evening was top drawer, Jack and Pheobe were rushed off their feet this evening, but handled the restaurant like true professionals with a constant smile on their faces and a professionalism that would put other restaurants to shame. I am only sorry i couldn't meet the chefs and thank them too, as the food was out of this world. This is without doubt THE chinese eat in restaurant in the Clacton/Holland area. Thank you so much guys, we will be returning again and again.

Checking times. Tonight. OCT 2023 Closed for refurbishment. I have to say it's the only Local Chinese Restaurant to sit in. The other two are Take Aways. I took a Take Away home. A Beef Curry (sauce a little hot)(not your normal curry sauce, in house made.) and Plain Boiled Rice. Also Fried Noodle (thin type) and Beef (not chow mein) (there are a bits of green pepper, mushrooms, in it) also asked for Bean Sprouts with added onion, (perfect) Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Sauce. (It had in it onions, cucumber, carrots and chucks of pineapple. Got to be made in house and fresh).

Amazing. Big portions and great flavours. Definitely coming back

Amazing venue - we had table of 18 for my birthday and it was the perfect evening. Staff, food & performer were all wonderful and it’s such a great vibe. Thank you for making it so special!!

I had our son and daughter in law, staying from Surrey. We ordered takeaway from Royal China, for delivery. Wow ! It was the best Chinese we had ,had in a long time. Can't wait to have again. It was all beautifully cooked and hot once delivered. 100% recommend. Thank you, Royal China

Really enjoyed the food. It's a very busy restaurant so make sure you book but if you don't want to pay the service charge be prepared for an embarrassing argument with the ladies running it.

Exactly what you want from a Chinese takeaway. Reasonable priced. Clean. Gorgeous food.

Very disappointed tonight with my takeaway.the crispy beef was soggy and the sauce wasn't tasty just over powered with garlic 😫

Our second visit here and everything was absolutely lovely, as it was on our first order. Just so happy to have found a good Chinese at last. Food was ready on time, hot and tasty with decent fixed portions. See you again Tasty House 👍

Great Chinese takeaway in Dorchester. Very quick service and tasty food. I highly recommend people to try this place..

Food was absolutely terrible. Rice was clearly all precooked/old. Tasted and felt rubbery. Both suffered with painful stomachs after. Won't be going here again.

The food is really healthy and delicious. But I have to give a huge shoutout to Moise and Amal. They were absolutely fantastic and amazing. Amal always welcomes with a smile. And Moise such a nice person who understands his customers. you guys are the best ❤️
