Absolutely love the food, atmosphere, and service at Chopstix! It is a brilliant date night spot, place to meet with friends, or enjoy a night out with the family. Favourite dishes include the sesame chicken, chicken curry, lemon chicken, wonton soup... its all delicious!! Service is top notch. Very professional and friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, and standard of service provided. Can't recommend this place highly enough! They also offer take away. Excited to keep exploring the menu here, as it is all amazing.

Lovely restaurant, a little small, but they have seating upstairs for guests. We were served with a friendly polite smile. Service was very quick considering they were very busy with people going to the theatre. We had roast pork dumplings to start, they were delicious, favourite starter for me. I had sizzling beef and my partner had chilli and coriander prawns. Both nicely seasoned. The beef had a lovely sauce with onions and peas. My partner had a nice red onion salad with his prawns, which was nice I had a bit. I like red onions better that white.. We shared a red bean dumpling, I didn't like it, my partner ate it all. Overall that was just personal taste. I would highly recommend going, but definitely book especially if it's a night for the theatre goers. Will definitely be going back. If you could put custard buns on the menu, that would be great. They are my favourite 😊👍🏽

Came for a meal with my husband, staff lovely and friendly, place was really busy staff took order promptly, we ordered mixed platter to share then we both chose our own main dish sharing rice and chips. Starter was okish we managed to eat most of that but we were hungry, the main for me was a chicken chow mien it was absolutely awful, really salty, but I tried to eat it but the lovely lady came over and asked if it was okay, I informed her it was salty she offered a fresh one to be made in which I declined (already felt sickly) she then returned and said she would take my dish away and give me a refund, I thought that was really nice. My husband ate his steak Cantonese but he did say it tasted like lumps of beef but it was edible. We’re not fussy people but no I didn’t really rate the food at all.

Visited as part of a group of 10. Food was very delicious but portions were huge. Feel like a bit of a warning would have been helpful! We could take leftovers away but had we known we would have ordered less meals. The staff and service was very good and we didn't have to wait very long considering we were a large party with a large order. The place looks smart and tidy and it was quite busy when we were in so appears to be enjoyed by many. Would happily return and would likely re order the duck chow mein as it was very good!

POWERFUL CHINESE FOOD ***** we were staying in the area for the weekend and thought we would try for the first time. Hands down some of the most flavoursome Chinese food I’ve had in a long time! Such a shame I don’t live near this place as it would easily become my regular. Look forward to coming back! We got take away but the place was very welcoming and nice when I went to collect. Keep up the good work 🤤

We came in for a take away but the staff were very attentive and helpful front of house. I personally thought it was very expensive for a take away consisting of 2 x soup, a quarter duck with pancakes and a house special satay with chips at £32.80, back in Durham the exact same meal costs me £19-£20 max (and it is correct and edible) The main issue I had though was with the House Special Satay, I have ordered this dish up and down the UK and never had an issue but this was horrendous! Firstly it wasn’t even on the menu, no problem I was assured, (my Brother had the same issue with ordering a Chop Suey) but he was cagey about the price with it not being on the menu. Now, here is the main issue, EVERY house special dish I have ever ordered contains beef, char su, chicken and prawns, not this one, when we unpacked the meal back at home instead of the standard size carton this was a half size carton and can only be described as 2-3 table spoons of a very non-descript sauce a green pepper (chopped into large pieces) and 9 or 10 small slices of unrecognisable meat (I suspect it was char su but without any “spice colouring”, it was so over cooked I couldn’t bite through it and was absolutely and completely devoid of any flavour whatsoever. Lessen, if you don’t sell a dish don’t try to wing it, especially charging very high prices for half portions to a person who is very knowledgeable about the food industry and standards. I consider this a shameless fraud which has started our badly needed rest weekend off in poor fashion. I really am furious, and haven’t yet decided what further action to take. My message to other diners, eat here if you wish but be wary and keep a tag on the bill if you order anything even slightly “off piste”
