The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

The food was amazing. If I could give the service 10 stars I would, the waiter was incredible. If you have an allergy you can feel really safe and comfortable eating here. He let me know what I couldn't eat off the set menu, I was prepared to just not eat those dishes (like usual) but he started offering me alternatives instead. The vegetarian food also came out first (instead of being an afterthought) and there were brilliant, varied, options. The atmosphere was a little quiet at lunch but we didn't mind one bit. If you prefer to eat somewhere quiet, this place is perfect.

Lovely place and the service was exceptional. However the food was only ok and in my opinion overpriced. Soup curry and fried rice and a glass of wine was over 40 pounds. A bit excessive I feel and the curry had more onions than anything else.

Google Review: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ We visited Sichuan Popo and tried their mini hot pot, which was a great choice! It was huge, definitely enough for 2 people, and had a nice kick to it—super flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, the Dan Dan noodles were a bit of a letdown. They lacked the bold, spicy flavors we usually expect from Dan Dan noodles and were quite bland. However, after asking for some chili oil on the side and mixing it in, the noodles tasted much better. Overall, the mini hot pot was a highlight, but the noodles could use some improvement. Might come back to try other dishes!

Absolutely rubbish, went with family thought of great food. The starters are from previous day's. Mains are okay hence 2 star. The service and counter lady is useless asking us to pass the plates. Won't go again. As I too from same place thought of having great food and service. Which is utterly failed. Bad experience with family.

Not a great place cake here for my birthday the weird Chinese lady who works there stares at you she was making me and my family very uncomfortable the food was no better then a takeaway at 300 quid for 6 people I expect better and better service and the place stunk they had a dirty fish tank that looks like it has never been cleaned ! The the larger tasted old change you're barell !

I’ve been going to eastern delight for years and it never fails to impress me with the stunning food and service thank you to all the staff and have a wonderful Christmas and new year 💕🫶👍

Went to Henry’s on the 14th Dec 2024 had the most amazing Christmas buffet menu…. Plenty of food …..young girls who served us were amazing and so friendly…. Would definitely recommend 🎄🎄🎄😋😋😋😋

Portion sizes are amazing, and the quality of the food is outstanding. Incredible value for money. Beef is tender and flavourful, and I’ve never had any issues. Staff are helpful and speak basic English (that’s how you know the food is 🔥) and you can take any extra food home for a second meal.
