The best restaurants serving French food in England

Sunday lunch again and didn’t disappoint. Service is great, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food is just so tasty and portions are great. Definitely worth a visit.

A sunny day sitting on the harbour side with a delicious bowl of local mussels in a cream and white wine sauce, accompanied by warm bread and a glass of beer. Perfect!

Special restaurant with great service and delicious food. We went for Sunday lunch on my birthday - the menu had a range of very lovely sounding dishes, beyond the standard roasts, the cocktail and wine list were extensive. My lobster bisque starter was amazingly tasty, and both the roast sirloin of beef and chicken supreme for main course were delicious. A great experience, will be visiting again very soon.

Managed to get a late booking.. our waitress was amazing.. nothing too much trouble.. Food, wine and atmosphere superb..

Always have a wonderful experience whether we eat from the set menu or a la carte.

Hmmmmm pretty average to be fair, had the Bouillabaisse and it felt like the sauce was pre made with seafood sat on top

Great food and vibe. Portions were small and the food was a bit too expensive. You need to book in advance and the menu changes regularly it seems. If in dire need of some authentic French food and you're happy to pay for it, I'd recommend this place

A beautiful setting with a relaxing atmosphere. We had a lovely waitress and really enjoyed the food. Would recommend the sardines on toast, the onglet was loved by my daughter and the sea bass was perfect.

Lovely place to grab brunch, a sweet treat or just a coffee. Great to see that they’ve extended the main restaurant by way of a conservatory meaning more of us can be seated at once! The decor is beautiful, the food is fresh and top quality and the coffee is really good too. The service from the lady with the red lipstick (sorry, I didn’t get a name!) was lovely. She kindly split the pink lemonade into two glasses for my kids and even asked for it to be made on the sweeter side so that it wasn’t too sour for them, all without me even having to ask. Unfortunately we didn’t book far enough in advance for the afternoon tea because I do really enjoy that and all the unique finger foods it offers! Must remember to do so 24 hours in advance next time.
