The best restaurants serving French food in England

Last min booking,got us in no problem, Best indian we have had in AGES, super tasty and reasonably priced will be going back soon.

Extremely disappointed by the food here. The only upside was excellent coffee and friendly staff. My spouse and I ordered the French onion soup & garlic prawns. The soup was weirdly thin and tasteless, and the prawns were simply inedible, with a sauce tasting of raw garlic and a chemical tang. We were out to celebrate my spouse's birthday, but neither of us managed more than a few bites before we chose to leave and go elsewhere, something neither of us have ever done before! We ended up at the Thai restaurant, also attached to Carey Manor, which we highly recommend.

Great food, the sea bass cerviche was a stand out but the other dishes we tasted (chorizo and lime, corn and red pepper salad, short rib tacos and lots of others) were great too.

Spectacular place to eat well in the City of London. This French-style place has very good dishes, the best: the steak sandwich, which comes with various sauces and lots of fries!

The crepes have always been lovely and warm. The variety is great, and the service is excellent.

Delicious food and friendly service

Worst tea and coffee ever, horribly weak. Now on my avoid list.

It was a treat to come here to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary in our bubble. Chris made us very welcome from the start, and her warmth really added to the experience, The food is excellent (not surprising given the AA Rosette awarded in the first couple of months of opening), and of course the venue of Judge Jeffreys's courtroom is special. I'm already looking forward to coming back, whether for a full meal or coffee and cake. And the basil ice cream....

Had a fabulous meal at The Artichoke in Amersham last night. We went because my nephew is now working there, but we will be going back for the warm atmosphere and the brilliant food and wine. Loved all of the dishes on the well thought out tasting menu, but the roasted salsify deserves a special mention. The sommelier was also particularly great. They were some of the best wine pairings we've had. He was also fun and knowledgeable. I really can't understand why we had never been before, since it is so close to us and we often travel a long way to eat in great places! Well worth a visit if you've never been before.

A very professional and efficient service. We were dining before going to the Theatre. Warm and quality food. A full restaurant...that says it all !

We are three friends having a catch up and we chose Coté to so. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the food and drinks were delicious. We have all said that we would return with our families and friends.
