My Hot favourite restaurant in town!!! Authentic South Indian taste with super service. Milan served us very nicely and addressed our all allergic requirements. Excellent food, must visit this place foodie lovers. Recommended South Indian restaurant.

Friendly staff with really good service. (We were the only ones in the restaurant).. The parathas were freshly cooked and piping hot. The food was not overspicy and medium hot which is much better as I could actually taste the other flavours.

We had a wonderful meal here following the funeral of my lovely mum. It was one of her favourite places to eat and we felt it was a fitting tribute for the three of us to remember her. The staff were amazing and the food incredible, catering to our individual tastes. Thank you.

Incredible food, really great value and great service from Vraj. We had paneer, chili wings, lamb and dhal. All delicious and the naan was soft and chewy.

I had hosted a B'Day Party for my Son. While I wasn't happy with the arrangements done and what restaurant had promised me to deliver but what was more frustrating that I was over-billed. At the time of payment, the cashier told me that their till-machine is not working and hence just did the total on the calculator, which was incorrect. Since, I didn't had the receipt, I didn't realize that I ended-up paying about 15% - 20% extra money and realized only after I came back home. Since, then I have called hotel may times and sent them an e-mail as well but no response from their end. It's not a matter of 40 pounds that I paid extra but the intent and the courtesy demonstrated by the restaurant manager & staff. Disappointing when have a feeling that someone has tried to cheat you...may be unintentional but not correcting their mistake

Today i bought £14 from this shop take away but when i started to eat its too oily and over spicy. They dipped already one time fried samosas again in hot oil to make it hot and kachori was over cooked only i liked is puff and vadapav.

Not as great as it used to be. Service was below par - we were pretty much ignored by the staff, of which there were many. Never offered more drinks, coffee etc. When a staff member did come over I was leant over and personal space went out the window. Everything we ordered bar 2 dishes were full of red food colouring and bland. Never seen a red chana masala before and don’t usually have to add salt. Shall not be returning. Such a shame.

The service was excellent. The food was great. We asked for mild food and they made it just right. We also got some extra compliments of the restaurant. Really liked it. Will definitely recommend it.

We went to Desi Hype for dinner on Friday 25th October 2024. We mostly had a nice time. The singer/DJ was brilliant and he played our requested songs. Five stars for the singer. The music was very entertaining. There was an issue with one of our dishes, but the Manager Sonu was happy to listen to my feedback, which was helpful and shows good customer service. They were a little short staffed, but they were apologetic about this and did their best. Overall, we had a nice time.

Absolutely disgusted with the jalebis which I bought for a dinner party on Saturday. They were too crispy and tasted sour and were not fit to serve to my family. Will never set foot in this establishment again as they have refused to acknowledge my complaint.

We ordered food for 40 people for a lunch event at home. Every item was freshly made that morning & packed well. All our guests had praises for MTR Rayners Lane as they scoffed through the delectable dishes. Thank you MTR for the great service & authentic food.

Really enjoyed all of the food - especially the Chilli Paneer, Mutton Hopper and Deviled Prawns. The staff were also great in being able to tailor to my wife's dietary requirements. Drinks were wonderful too, with a Sri Lankan twist. Would definitely recommend!

We were on our way to the British Museum and stopped in for lunch. Admit we haven't had Indian cuisine for many years but heard that London had good Indian restaurants and thought that we try one. This was not the one. We had their curry, my wife the chicken and I the lamb and with rice. If we were not famished we would have walked out. We eat a different kind of curry but this was just not in our flavor zone at all. Because of the curry we decided not to try anything else and just paid and left.
