The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wigan North West

Somos nuevos en el área de Coppull y esta es nuestra primera comida para llevar y reseñar para este restaurante. Honestamente puedo decir que esta fue una de las mejores comidas indias que hemos tenido y hemos tenido algunas comidas indias en Yorkshire a lo largo de los años. Tuvimos entrantes y tubería principal con guarnición y niñera y todo estaba delicioso, porciones de buen tamaño y entregado caliente y a tiempo. sin duda volveré a pedir.

Zest is located in a former Little Chef building on the East Lancs road so is really easy to find. It’s not a very cosy place and can feel a bit like a goldfish bowl however it’s still a great place to eat and can cater for both big groups and couples at the same time. The food isn’t going to win awards but is still good, the lamb is excellent. Portions are generous, but excess can be taken home. The staff are great, they look after you very well but don’t mither you. It’s also very good value, I’ve never felt ripped off. It’s not suitable for a “special” meal but is certainly an excellent go-to place.

Ordered online at 1830 came at 1910 on a Friday night! So quick delivery ! Starter we had poppadums with a mixed starter, the onions bahjee were small but good, the chicken tikka was favourable and the kebab was hard and cold so wouldn’t advise getting that again. The chicken korai was very tasty with a little kick. The chicken tikka masala was great. Garlic naan breads were tasty with plenty of flavour. Aloo chana was tasty too would defo order again!

We had a large party of 42 people- Chilli Mangoes were excellent. The food arrived very promptly, and the large order was very well-organised. Food was excellent as well- I can highly recommend the Chicken Jalfrezi. Staff were wonderful and accommodated our every need!

Tried this place for the first time tonight and probably the last. We ordered 3 curries, a chicken tikka massala and 2 chicken tikka pathia. When the food arrived, I kid you not, but the foil trays that the curry is in was just about half full!!. That was every single one. I rang back to complain and he had the audacity to ask for a picture!! Nonetheless, I had a picture and asked him to provide an mobile number by messaging me on mine to then send the image to. He never provided one. Don't bother wasting your money on half portions with this lot, spend a little more and get a proper curry portion from a proper takeaway.

Was charged £4 more than the price on the app, paid by cash. Not sure if prices has gone up but not reflected on the app?

Ordered one curry and naan to collect at 7.40, gave them an hour and they hadn’t started when I got there! Ready at 8, curry was ‘ok’, very poor overall

Reservamos la mesa para unas 20 personas mientras una familia se reúne para Navidad. Aparcamos en la parte trasera y pagamos y exhibimos. Hoy ( 9 / 1 / 25 ) hemos recibido una demanda de aparcamientos en euros de 75 libras (reducida a 45 libras si se paga bla bla bla) . Esto se debe a que no nos dimos cuenta de que después de la primera hora subió a £ 5. Qué estafa total, no hay buena voluntad aquí amigos. Cuando entramos en la comida era poco más de precio comida de microondas y las bebidas nada especial. Nunca volveremos a ir aquí. . . . . . .

¡Muy decepcionado! Llegamos allí y estaba emocionado de comer aquí como se recomendó. Cuando llegamos al hombre detrás de la barra no era muy acogedor. , mientras estábamos mirando a través del menú obtuvimos algunos poppadoms pedimos pepinillo de lima, parecía enojado con esto como si no pudiera ser culo! Llegamos entonces a pedir un muy decepcionado! Llegamos allí y estaba emocionado de comer aquí como se recomendó. Cuando llegamos al hombre detrás de la barra no era muy acogedor. , mientras estábamos mirando a través del menú recibimos algunos poppadoms que pedimos como pepinillo, parecía enojado con esto como si no pudiera ser culo! Luego llegamos a pedir y conseguimos unos entrantes que era agradable, pero las chuletas de cordero eran difíciles, pero mis gambas estaban bien. Hice algunas preguntas sobre los platos y quería tener un poco de especias. ¡Me dijo que sería lo suficientemente picante! Me gusta el picante que él no conocía pero asumió, Y para colmo tenemos arroz con champiñones que era tan soso con champiñones ENLATADOS. Normalmente no escribo malas críticas, ya que a veces la gente tiene un día libre, pero la cantidad de problemas que tuvimos sentí que tenía que hacerlo. Ni siquiera se disculpó y casi discute conmigo. He trabajado en restaurantes indios y sé cómo deben ser los platos. Y tenemos unos entrantes que fue agradable, pero las chuletas de cordero eran difíciles, pero mis gambas estaban bien. Last night I placed a telephone order with the Buraq for 2 main meals and the usual sides. I only eat 1 type of curry and I've been eating for years so i know my order off the top of my head. We have ordered food from the Buraq for years and and I would recognise the polite young guy who would normally takes our telephone order. For what ever reason tonight he didn't take our order and instead we had someone who's English was not very good. I placed the order and we agreed a time collect. It was 30 minutes late without an apology but that's to be expected. After getting home I realised that 1 main meal was incorrect and I rang to ask if it could be exchanged. I was told the manager was out but would return my call in 10 minutes. A call was received 10 minutes later from the manager who claimed that my girlfriend had ordered the wrong food or was lying, he had been in the business for 50 years so knew every trick in the book then slammed the phone down. I rang back and told him that I placed the order not my girlfriend, nobody was lying and maybe the person who took the order who didn't speak great English misheard me. Once again the phone was slammed down. I was shocked and furious at the utter lack of respect for customers and will never do business with this place again. The manager is rude, disrespectful and has absolutely no customer service skills. PS the food on this occasion was disgusting, get a grip Buraq # in the bin

Very disappointed with the food. Not a lot of spice flavour used, just hot to taste, on a plus they give you a lot. Delivery was 30 mins later than first stated. Ignore the chips in the picture they are from home. Don't let me put you off not everyone's taste is the same. But we won't be going back.
