The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

The food was hot, spicy and tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive even though the place was busy. The price of the food and drink was really good and value for money. Highly recommend.

Ordered 2 things vegetable korma and kadahi paneer both were exactly same , and had no taste at all, could have make better at home only, both things were cold underneath seems like microwaved and that too not properly, naans were sooo hard and fluffy,didnt eat much and ended up having a bad mood

Nice and clean premises and friendly staff. No English menu for customers over 11 Yr old, but if you ask nicely, they will go out of their way to accommodate you.

That was the best Indian takeaway my husband and I have had in years. The portions were plentiful, the service excellent and the flavour was amazing. We had seekh and shami kebab, chicken bhuna, sagwalla lamb curry and naans. All were just the best. We will definitely be ordering from there again.

My son and I had the best Indian food ever! We have good Indian cuisine in California but this was superior. We ordered the Tandoori grill mix, aloo gobi, paneer masala, and chicken tikka masala. The service was impeccable and friendly. We fully enjoyed our meal!

Always a great curry. Onion bhaji's are the best! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great if it's sit in or take away. I drive all the way from Brackley. Which has 4 curry houses, non of which I would choose over the Fort.

Lovely Indian restaurant with friendly and efficient service, wonderful food and there’s a decent wine list too. The atmosphere was good and we all left very happy.

Quite simply one of the nicest Indian takeaways I've ever had. The locals all rate this place very highly and with good reason. I've not eaten in the restaurant but the staff are very polite and efficient with the takeaway. Highly recommended

Conceited arrogance. Simply they sent us the wrong order, it was way too hot and went in the bin. Phones them up 3 time and left messages, no reply. When we got through they asked why did it take so long to complain, seriously! Took no responsibility, said they never get things wrong, blamed Uber Eats, who is the supplier here? Reason I never went back to their over rated restaurant was because I had a huge, dead, bluebottle in my chutney one time. No apologies then either.

Had a takeaway this evening, food quality was good. However, for two out of the last three orders, they messed up and gave us the wrong food. Quite honestly it should not be beyond the wit of man to get an order of three main courses correct. It is no good serving quality food when it does not arrive as ordered! Maybe we need to go elsewhere for our Indian takeaway. Mr David
