We visited here for a family birthday as it had been highly recommended to us. It did not disappoint, the small, friendly restaurant had a cosy atmosphere, the service was perfect and well what can I say about the food, a fantastic menu also with a wide range of options for vegetarians and vegans as well. Every meal was delicious. We will definitely return and recommend to anyone that knows us.

A warm, friendly Italian restaurant with a superb ambience. Brilliant food, great service and friendly staff. So much so that for the two days we’re visiting Eastbourne we’re going back the second night. What a shame it’s not our local!

The food was amazing no doubt but the service was awful! The waitress took the drinks order and came back twice and still needed to check. I waited a further 15 minutes for my drink. We then waited almost 30 minutes for the staff to come back and take our order. We were told that there was no pita bread, my frown ordered a diet lemonade only to be told later it wasn’t diet after drinking. The margarita had something fizzy in and didn’t taste like a margarita, but having waited ages for. Like I said the food was lovely. We were still eating our starters when they bright the mains out but the table hadn’t been cleared so had to fumble around to make room. Then had to wait for new cutlery. We wanted to order coffees at the end it to be told that there was none. The waiter brought over Tequila shots as an apology for the coffee but there was no lime or salt to go with the shots. Again the food in general was amazing but there was a huge lack of organisation. No loo roll in the loo and it wasn’t busy so we didn’t really get why the service was long it was.

A nice restaurant a little bit hidden down the back roads of the town centre. The menu is good enough, but it could have more choice. The restaurant was clean and seemed quite cosy. We went mid afternoon, so maybe it has a better atmosphere in the evening, as it was fairly quiet. Will I go there again 🤷♂️

Would not recommend. For the price, the quality was underwhelming. The garlic bread was soggy, not crunchy, and the pasta was mediocre at best—disappointing given the cost. I requested a half portion of pasta for my child (no kids’ menu available, which is fine) but was charged £12, with no clear indication it was a reduced portion. Service was poorly managed. Plates were cleared while some of us were still eating, and mains were brought out immediately after the last plate was removed, making us feel rushed. After asking for the bill, staff lingered near our table, adding to the pressure, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. It felt unnecessary and intimidating. Cleanliness was also lacking. The toilets were dirty and clearly in need of maintenance, with an incomplete cleaning log suggesting they may not be regularly checked. Paper towels and plates left around service areas added to the impression of neglect. Lastly, the owner’s defensive responses to other reviews reflect poorly on management. It seems unlikely these issues will be addressed, which is unfortunate given the restaurant’s good location. Hopefully, this feedback will be taken constructively, though experience suggests otherwise.

We went to Tony Piccante’s for a family meal, we received excellent food and a friendly, welcoming attentive service. Pizzas were made fresh.

They never let you eat-in. The guys working there, remarked on us when we entered, saying ironically ‘all of these come at 9’ we went there at 8:47pm and when we ordered they told us its only take away. Upon asking when does the eat-in closes they said 8 pm, which i think is absurd. How can you take a desert with ice-cream home in rain when there is no parking nearby 😑
