The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Walked in and we were seated immediately. Food was excellent and service was friendly and fast. Loved the selection and atmosphere.

This place was such a lovely discovery! I’m Italian and l don’t often get nostalgic, but as I stepped through this cute place’s door, I felt instantly teleported in Sicily ❤️ The place feels homey and warm, the chef is top notch (both pastas and pizzas are outstandingly good), and the vibe is the one of a family. Don’t miss it if you’re in the area!

Wonderful place for a family meal. Great service. Jo - our waitress was very helpful and looked after us nicely. We had variety of meals (including the burger and mussels) and everything was very delicious.

It’s great whenever we go there we have a good time 5/5 :) Excellent pasta the sauces are always amazing and the chips are delicious!

We came with friends in March, a large booking of 15 for a meal. We arrived promptly at 7.30 but our food didn’t come out until just after 9pm. Whilst I appreciate we were a large group, 9pm isn’t satisfactory. The waiter was lovely and clearly the issue wasn’t with him but I question why they take large bookings if you can’t accommodate a reasonable time frame for serving large parties. If I’m honest I won’t recommend or return. I wanted to feedback as clearly this is something the restaurant needs to review and improve on

Family visit again. No surprises, just great food and excellent service at a very good price. As always the atmosphere was good.

Love their ice cream, lovely lady layers ice cream into you come. Get a lot and not expensive

Tried to visit Francesco & Amorosa for another superb Italian meal, but found the restaurant closed. Oh no. We have been eating at Francisco's for a few years now and always have fantastic food served with passion and friendship. The end of an era. Wishing you both a long and happy retirement.
