The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Sorrento gets it right - a perfectly lit, warm atmosphere; staff who are polite and friendly; food that is great quality and not overpriced. This has been somewhere for our family to have special meals for years now.

I am not a fan of icecream or gelato, but this was a delicious treat. The chocolate was creamy and luscious as was the berry gelato. Huge portions which we divided. Not a single ice-crystal in the gelato! Literally like eating it freshly churned in our home kitchen. I will make the trek to go back.

I like the style and food at this restaurant, the decor is lovely and the young staff are lovely and look so smart . The only thing I would change is how the manger/ owner talks to her staff, they worked really hard and think you should be a little kinder to them

Good portion sizes and decent enough quality for a cafe. Would have liked some salad or something to go alongside the tuna melt as it was quite stodgy

Visité con mi esposa y mi hija de 6 años. Gran bienvenida y servicio rápido de un equipo amable. La comida era muy buena, así como las bebidas. Mi único comentario negativo es ¿por qué un restaurante se negaría a servir a un niño de 6 años con una pequeña porción de pasta? Entendería si fuera algo así como un filete o similar, pero media porción de pasta de espagueti es tan fácil. Obviamente se reduce a no querer cobrar menos. Nunca he estado en un restaurante donde se hace una negativa a servir a un niño una pequeña porción, de ahí la baja puntuación de la crítica.

Reservado para 6 personas con antelación ya que tengo celiaco solo un plato GF en el menú o podrían hacer Gf pizza base no estaba contento no había mucho De elección para GF cuando se lo había hecho saber. La comida se cocinó bien el personal era agradable, pero le hubiera gustado más elección GF solo helado para el desierto. Era mi cumpleaños y me sentí bastante avergonzado de poder elegir solo una comida. Todos con los que estuve disfrutaron de la comida

Visited Santinni restaurant with my family and was pleasantly surprised. The external of the property isn’t the best, but once you enter you can see the care and pride that is taken in the restaurant. The environment was welcoming, the staff were polite, professional and very knowledgable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Then we get to the food, it was outstanding. It was fresh, cooked perfectly and very enjoyable. We will return

Second time here for the bottomless brunch, probably the best value for money one I’ve been to in Preston. The food is amazing, Prosecco/cocktails are good quality and the staff are lovely, can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend.

Visited today for Sunday lunch and honestly couldn't fault it. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, the food was absolutely first class, and I cant recommend La Fonte highly enough.

Genuinamente tan bueno como estar en Italia, el pistacho era tan bueno que tuvimos que volver y decirle que era increíble. El helado de pandoro también es espectacular.
