Ordered a mixed kebab box (various meats, rice, bread and salad) arrived without the salad. Rang the restaurant to explain the salad was missing to be told we didn’t click the box on uber eats to say we wanted salad. (Also gave some shoddy explaination that they don’t include salad incase people are allergic??) there was no box to tick only an option to select sauce so salad should of be included just like the bread and rice were. Meal is not as advertised and not what we expected. There was no offer to send the salad only that is was us that were in the wrong not them or the website. Double checked on uber eats and there definitely wasn’t a box to tick so rang back and they wouldent accept our call. Didn’t think it was a big deal really but good customer service would have been to send the salad that we paid for and was described on their page. Won’t be using them again, clearly don’t want to rectify any problems or check their own ordering system. After reading other reviews it seems the customer is always wrong to them!

I recently visited Bamalan for their bottomless brunch and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Several issues during our visit left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. 1. Unnotified Menu Change: Upon arrival, we discovered the menu had changed, but there were no prior notifications on the website or in the restaurant. This felt misleading, as we had specifically chosen this brunch based on the items from the previous menu. 2. Poor Service: The service was extremely disappointing. Our waitress was rude and dismissive, often walking away mid-conversation while we were trying to order. Despite being the only table in the venue, we felt completely ignored. She seemed more focused on preparing for a private function than attending to us, which made us feel like an inconvenience. We even had to shout to get her attention, which was both frustrating and embarrassing. 3. Venue Closed Upon Arrival: We were left standing outside upon arrival because the venue was closed, despite having a reservation. This lack of communication and disorganization was unprofessional. 4. Unpleasant Environment: The atmosphere was further disrupted when staff began dragging bins past our table before we had even placed our order. This completely ruined the ambiance and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. 5. Unresolved Concerns: When we tried to address our issues upon leaving, the staff seemed too preoccupied with preparing for a private event to listen. It was clear we were not a priority, and we left feeling like an inconvenience. Overall, this experience was far below expectations and not worth the money spent. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both service and customer care. I have sent an email addressing these issues but have yet to receive a response.

Excellent position and a lovely building. Very pleasant restaurant with plenty of room between the tables. Service was attentive and we didn't have to wait long between courses. We both chose the steak frites which was fine but not the best in my experience, hence the dropping of one star. We would however visit again if we were in the area.

We booked an all inclusive accommodation and food weekend. Everything was just as we would have wished with a very comfortable room and a fantastic ‘around the world’ menu. The wine flowed freely and we just relaxed into a stress free few days.
