We had a table booked for four of us, the food and service was outstanding! Made us feel very welcome and made our evening one to remember. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. A great choice of food and cocktails, super staff and great atmosphere!!

Went on a Monday evening so It was quite. Had a lovely interaction with the owner who said he had been there for 9 years. With the quality of the food and the reasonable prices I am not surprised. Well worth a visit if you are in the Liverpool area.

Walked in, nobody acknowledged us, waited ages for drink!!! Then has to prompt the chefs for food , the kitchen pass was loaded with food to go out. Not impressed to see a member of management standing at the bar drinking something.

I always seem to forget about Las Iguanas until I see it, but it’s honestly one of my absolute favorite places to dine in or order from. It’s the perfect combination of everything—starters, tapas, main courses, cocktails, and more. The food is consistently hot and tastes like pure perfection. A big thank you for the excellent service as well! The staff are always friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with.

Great food and really friendly service. When a small mistake was made with one order it was corrected quickly and we all had a really enjoyable meal.

Visitado antes de ver a Peter Kay en el Arena el 20 de diciembre. Tuvimos una pesadilla absoluta con booking.com re nuestro apartamento y tuvimos que contactar con el restaurante en varias ocasiones para mantenerlos actualizados. Estábamos reservados para las 5 de la tarde, pero no llegamos hasta las 6. 15 pm. El Gerente (las disculpas no obtuvieron su nombre) fue excepcional. Tenía una mesa esperando - a pesar de que llegamos una hora tarde - y también dijo que recibiría nuestro pedido a su debido tiempo cuando llegáramos. Además de eso, cuando nos sentó en la mesa y nos preguntó qué queríamos beber - un gran vino blanco y pinta de corona, amablemente dijo que estaban en la casa. Era justo lo que necesitábamos. La comida era excelente - Hamburguesa para mí y la Paella para mi esposa, absolutley delicioso. Una excelente experiencia, hecho mejor por el gerente y nuestra camarera - de nuevo disculpas, no consiguió su nombre. Luego, al salir, nos mostró el camino más rápido a la Arena. Servicio más allá de la llamada. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente por el servicio, la comida y el ambiente, y volveré a visitar cuando esté en Manchester. ¡Gracias de nuevo!

I went for weekend brunch and it was pretty nice. The restaurant itself is super cutely decorated. And all the staff were so easy to talk to and pretty helpful. They were always asking if I wanted more to drink or if I wanted more tacos. It was also just a fun time… they had mariachi come out at some point and they were nice guys too. I got some tacos which were nice. And I got the pozole which was a tad bland, but good if you just add your salsa and toppings. I’d definitely come back for brunch.

The tapas starters were fantastic - my 2 stars does not relate to them, but the main course. We had chicken fajitas for our main and were horrified that the chicken was gristly Pieces of chicken thigh meat. I’ve never experienced anything like it and only ever been served lean chicken breast strips with fajitas in the past. Neither of us were able to eat the food and I did mention this to the waitress who said she’d speak to the Manager. We had been placed upstairs on a table for two right by the door and the waitress station which was very cramped and we felt that we were being watched all the time. Not a very comfortable experience. We did ask if we could move to another table for two and we were told we couldn’t because it was already booked. My friend asked with the bill when I had gone to visit the ladies room and when I returned, the waitress was standing by the table so I asked her what the Manager had said about the food which we had not been able to eat - She then said oh yes, sorry I can take £7 off the bill. By this time the restaurant was full and we did not wish to make a scene so paid the bill and gave the £7 discount as a tip to the waitress which I thought was more than fair in the circumstances. I then emailed the restaurant to raise a complaint and never received a response which only leads me to believe that they simply don’t care. I’m not sure if the popularity of this place is just because it’s the only Mexican Themed restaurant in Coventry (except las iguanas but I mean independent restaurants), however it simply doesn’t cut it for me and the really poor quality and even worse customer service has made me determined never to return. So very, very disappointed in the lack of communication. On reflection, we should have refused to pay the bill as I’m sure that would’ve got the manager’s attention!
