Sainsbury's under improvement work and although a bit chaotic the staff are very helpful ..The young man Aaron was extremely helpful on the bread section today he went out of his way to find the only bread I can eat which I was so grateful for This is the Arnison centre branch ..thank you guys

Very disappointing at this cafe took ages for someone to come to counter so my wife could order my full English breakfast took ages. It finally came out was stone cold The staff where miserable and the booth we were in there was cake all over the floor If I could score less I most certainly would.

Nos sentimos muy decepcionados con nuestra visita de hoy. El espacio entre las mesas es demasiado pequeño. Traté de empujar un cochecito por un pasillo, pero no había espacio entre los scooters de movilidad y los caminantes. Una pobre dama tuvo que arropar su silla para que yo pasara apretando ya que no podía ir ni hacia adelante ni hacia atrás. Pedimos el chocolate caliente de lujo y los primeros que nos dieron fueron débiles, insípidos y tibios. Los reemplazaron por unas tazas muy pequeñas de chocolate caliente. No tenía nada de lujo. Hubiera supuesto que vendría con crema y malvavisco, pero no fue así. Tuvimos que añadir azúcar para que supiera mejor, pero incluso entonces, no era genial. El pastel de zanahoria, por otro lado, era increíble. 10 / 10 ! Definitivamente evita el chocolate caliente, pero date un capricho con el pastel de zanahoria.

My friends and I booked fir bottomless brunch at Bar 31 and having never been before we were not sure what to expect. On arrival the Bar looked lovely very clean and modern, with a constant flow of customers. We were greeted by the lovely Julie who showed us to our table, and as we had already been sent the menu we booked our first drink 🍸. There were plenty of choices of drinks to cover all tastes. We were asked to let the staff know whether we were ready to order our food and as we had already preorderd our food we didn't have to wait long. There is plenty of choice for all tastes and dietary requirements taken in to consideration. Matty and Eve were our servers and constantly checked if we needed more drinks. The food was beautiful and very generous portions. For all the bar was busy we never had to wait for drinks and the staff went out if there way to make us all feel welcome nothing was to much trouble. 10 minutes before our time was up we were topped up again with our drinks, we enjoyed it so much that we stayed in the bar for the rest of the night. Overall a great bottomless brunch and I would highly recommend. All the staff were happy and chatty and made you feel like part of the family.

having a drink in the bar...landlord very rude not a nice couple at all... Will not be setting foot in there again.

Coffee not nice and so expensive it's unbelievable . Very cold and won't be returning. Cakes also very dry and all staff seem to be bored and miserable

We had been round the Bishop's Palace looking at the stunning Christmas decorations and were in need of a sit down and some refreshments. The Bishop's Kitchen hit the spot beautifully. Once a cellar of the Bishop's Palace which has been very tastefully renovated, the Kitchen offers a wide range of lunchtime treats from sandwiches, soups and salads, with cakes to follow. Everything is prepared on the premises and beautifully fresh. We had soup of the day with sourdough bread and a prawn salmon and dill sandwich. Both delicious and very filling. Service prompt and friendly and all reasonably priced. A perfect way to finish the morning. Highly recommended.

What an absolute fabulous team we are so thankful for there help and care.we were stranded at the services following an engine fire to our car 25/3 on a trip up to Northumberland.We had been left at the services with the contents of our fully loaded car including our family pet Hugo a GSP. We had previously enquired if we could leave our luggage etc at the hotel on-site who had to decline in a friendly manner.We were in the entrance with our luggage when a member of the Costa team came to our rescue and brought us inside to a section that they had cornered off and even gave Hugo a treat after helping us in with the contents of our car.Big shout out to you all at Costa Durham services. We were then rescued by family and was able to have a fabulous holiday in Northumberland after such a stressful time.THANKYOU 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍

Not surprised to hear this place didn't make it to 2022! Staff were lucky if they got paid on time, and not open when you would expect it to be. R. I. P TO THE STAFF great bunch wish you all the best and better employers in 2022. Xx

What a great friendly and accommodating village pub,Georgina is friendly and welcoming,as are all her staff. The christening was a great success and everyone that came said they had really good time. I feel this village pub is going to go from strength to strength,with the upcoming plans.

Esta unidad está vacía y pasteles de Paula ya no son Trading. Sin embargo, hay una tienda nueva de tarta unas puertas, no hemos probado, pero los pasteles son preciosas y se venden por porción.

The staff is more interested in speaking on the phone or to the delivery drivers than they are in taking orders. Customers wait in the queue for miss princess to finish talking to her lovey dovey.

Friendly atmosphere and quick service. Stopped for refreshments after a walk.

After having been closed for a couple of years the pub is now due to re-open on the 31st October 2024. Greene King are saying that the re-opened pub will revert to it's former name of 'The Sportsman's Arms' (in recent years it had been named 'The Belmont'). I've given a three star (average) review as I haven't a clue yet what the pub will be like - I just thought it might be useful to post that it is re-opening soon but I can't work out how to post without giving a rating. I'm hoping to return with a five-star review soon!!

Friendly service, tasty coffee. Usual Costa snacks. Plenty of space to sit when I visited but the seating area is rather drab. Basically you won't want to spend any time other than the necessary.
