Just had lunch here, I'm not a salad person but your salads are really nice with unusual touches like fresh herbs, rice and quinoa. Cakes looked divine. Will visit again

Stopped in this cozy pub on a walk down from Ironbridge. Enjoyed a lovely lunch including broccoli soup and their Cajun chicken salad. Service was prompt and courteous. Kid and dog friendly.

Excellent warmed cheese scones complemented perfectly by a chilli jam. Wonderful coffee too on a cold and snowy day. Thoroughly recommended.

Our experience was not good but the place is well decorated and clean and the staff at least tried to keep the costumers happy. We went for lunch and the food was very poor. The worst was that one of us ordered fried chicken filets and we got a mix of fish and chicken. Unfortunately the person was untolerant to fish so imagine the scene in the toilet. At least we were not charged for the dish. We were never asked about allergies as now is normal practice on most restaurants. Other disappointing things were that the focaccia was replaced as a slice of normal bread with butter. The coffee was served without spoons but that is a detail of the very basic service we had. We will surely never come back and I hope other people get better experiences. Good luck.

Sadly this pub/restaurant is now closed .I went there with my family aged 12 to 76 . The menu had very good choices of starters mains and desserts. The food was beautifully cooked. The service was excellent, friendly but not overbearing or hurried. The pub is a very clean quaint old English pub with nooks and crannies. My brother and son loved the fact it was a free house and had a good selection of ales and beers. I will defiantly be going back for another meal on my next family visit to the Telford area.( 2014 )

Absolutely beautiful cafe. I went there for a rest after a rather traumatic car journey and all the staff were wonderful. They straightaway brought me a glass of water and a cup of tea and toast. I had to insist on paying for it. I was able to relax before carrying on with my journey.

Undermanaged, bar staff inexperienced(which isn’t their fault) extra management required instead of leaving the place to be ran by people inexperienced. Take note management Poor pint of estrella And forgot 1 drink (there was only 2 of us)

I don’t normally review but gone downhill and very disappointing. We’re local and should have suspected something when everywhere but here was busy and booked. Booked in advance for Sunday lunch (for 7) with family who were visiting from Spain. Arrived half hour early, out of most red wine by the glass, said we could buy a bottle, thought he was funny, no barrels of Estrella, we were given the regular menu, I had to ask for Sunday menu, 2/4 items not available, everything else low. Staff were dismissive ‘they’d had a busy weekend’ and we felt like we were an inconvenience. Not even a forced ‘sorry about that’ so we left without ordering. Won’t be back.

Visiting the antique centre we saw it had a tea room. Very nice feeling and very clean. The rwo ladies serving were extremely helpful and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble! Food was very good too! Excellent coffee! Will certainly go back.
