Best pub in burslem

Me and my partner came here before they added the pub upstairs. The place is gorgeous and the food is lovely. Owners are great and so are the staff. Lively little place, I would recommend

Hired the function room for a small gathering. It was decorated beautifully for Xmas. Lots of sockets and a bar available to hire if required.

Good tea and although on the menu the milk cost extra there is a side table with cow milk and oat milk that is free. The prices are good and this cafe has a good atmosphere. I would recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Great food, excellent service always with a smile and a great atmosphere

One of the best coffee and breakfast places I have visited. It was a busy place, always an indication of quality food, service and atmosphere...it was a pleasant surprise for me. There are a couple of vegetarian/vegan options available for breakfast..I as a vegetarian would have loved more options but nevertheless I don't shy away from giving the best rating for this coffee place. The french press was great as was the coconut milk hot chocolate....as it's on the main road parking is a challenge. A must visit place for coffee and English breakfast lovers..

The Water Cure is a locally owned and run cocktail bar. A special place and my favourite treat in Malvern. Thank you Lottie and team for creating this special place. The building has been transformed with thoughtful design. The cocktails are delicious. A mix of people and the occasional pampered pooch, sit with friends and enjoy a pre-theatre or evening drink. No meals but sometimes bar snacks are available. The feeling is of high class, pleasurable luxury.

I had read reviews and was looking forward to going . The waitresses were lovely, kind and polite. However we were not impressed with the food .. Pate starter wasn't great. I had main of salmon with tiger prawns .. never found a prawn.. it was smothered in hollandaise sauce ..which was the colour and texture of custard . The veg was hard .. like it had been frozen... and as for the potatoes not one of us ate them as they just couldn't be cut . We did point this out to the waitress ..but no apology or anything . Venue was lovely and nice to catch up with friends ... Will not return ..sadly

Family friendly, good vibes, we will be back. Nice to find an independent pub with a great atmosphere.
