The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

My sister and I had a beautiful high tea at the Brasserie. Sandwiches and cakes were amazing served with excellent coffee, my sister said her pot of tea was good too. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Nice surroundings, we will certainly go again when my sister comes to stay.

The food is AMAZING! we had the potato pancakes with sauerkraut as a starter and the beef goulash and pork schnitzel as our mains and they were all excellent. The only reason this is a 4 star versus 5 star review is the service was lacking. Yes, we’re Americans and recognize that Europeans tend to want to linger over meals longer than we are used to but we’ve been in Europe for 2 weeks and are quite used to this. In this case, there was only 1 other table to serve and they (not Americans) got up to go order a second round of drinks because our servers were not around to ask. We were considering another round of drinks or coffee and dessert but we decided not to wait and went to the front and paid. The food will not disappoint!

Honestly, non very attractive from outside but I found amazing good and fresh baklava’s and welcoming personnel. Worth a stop there

Found this cafe tucked away in this old fashioned department store whilst visiting Morpeth on our way south. Had lunch here and it was lovely, freshly prepared and great value for money. The beef sandwich was filled with several thick slices and salad, and the prawns were overflowing from that sandwich, both accompanied by coleslaw and more salad.

Un lugar estupendo para recomendar por la propuesta gastronómica y servicio. La atención desde que entramos fue muy buena. Nos explicaron y aconsejaron los platos de la carta. Estuvieron pendientes de cualquier necesidad sin agobio alguno. Lugar pintoresco en una zona muy concurrida. Dar un paseo por allí es fantástico. Enhorabuena.

We came here after a morning in Carden Spa. We were greeted by lovely staff and a warm, cosy atmosphere - open fires were stocked and crackling away, frames fill the walls and the furniture is quirky and comfy. We chose lunch from the classic pub section and it was outstanding - we stayed for desert which was lovely and would definitely recommend the apple strudel if it’s on! If you’re looking for a cosy countryside pub with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere this is the place to go - we will definitely be returning.

Everything was amazing, staff were really good and excellent. We were served by George during our visit and have not got a bad word. He made everything extra special and you can tell he really cares about the customers. Honestly give that man a gift. He deserves it. He cared very well and made sure we were well looked after. The food was also so tasty and amazing. Well done to the chefs. Thank you guys for an amazing experience and time and once again thank you George.

Food is very good. Not sure where some reviewers have actually eaten, it seems not to be at BoBo West Kirby? We went for dinner and drinks and it is a solid experience. Lamb chops were very good! Music was exciting but not intrusive, a very welcome addition of a DJ in there, adds to the summer vibe of the menu! Don't let a handful of negative reviews put you off, those types should go to miserable places like Wetherspoons instead.

I went to this venue for a silver wedding anniversary celebration on the afternon on 4th May. The venue is really lovely. There's a great sense of history in the dining area of this former schoolhouse. The food was fabulous and the warm and friendly atmosphere made it rather a magical occasion. I can highly recommend this as a venue to hold an event. Many thanks

Coffee and Service top notch! However I do struggle with the English breakfast items. Mushrooms are undercooked…boiled (?) pretty tasteless. My egg was delivered broken 😞 the sausage and bacon quality isn’t great - for this money…. Hash browns were nice! Whole thing not very tasty …. No salt and pepper available?? Will never understand the fresh pineapple / melon slice served on the plate. Never should these be served on a plate of full English! For me there are lots of places serving a better full English but as I said the coffee was great as were the staff.

Posiblemente el peor restaurante en el que he estado. Reservado utilizando mi cena de lujo para dos vales - costando £ 69 y se le dio a elegir entre dos platos de un menú muy muy limitado con un costo de £ 25 por persona. Las opciones de menú fueron vergonzosas - mains - una ensalada vegetariana, pescado con papas fritas o milanesa de pollo con ensalada. Opté por el pollo y era básicamente un nugget de pollo grande. Insípido y grasiento. Un restaurante italiano sin pizza o pasta disponible? Y no, no puedes cambiar por eso. El restaurante estaba en un hotel, la comida nada como las imágenes del sitio web - ciertamente no el cóctel de moda de lujo y el bar de martini que implica. No hay ambiente, pocos clientes y no hay un restaurante de cualquier herencia italiana que pueda ver. El abandono de la cocina. No hay cerveza de barril disponible. ¡Y la comida de lujo viene con agua! Así que compra un vale y luego pide desde un menú que cuesta menos que el total del vale... pide desde un menú de basura. Booked afternoon tea here for myself and over 20 guests for my milestone birthday having read a review that rated this venue as providing a good experience, however, I did not receive the same treatment which ruined my birthday event. Waitress Olivia advised that my entire birthday party was only allowed the vegetarian option of food (sandwiches) even though I myself am not vegetarian and neither were all my friends/family/guests. This vegetarian option turned out to be very basic consisting of a few stale sandwiches and fairy cakes. When these sandwiches arrived, there was no finesse or presentation - the whole thing was very slap dash – looked rushed. In addition to which the teas and coffees were brought out a good 15 minutes prior to the arrival of the stale sandwiches so all hot drinks were cold by the time the basic vegetarian option on sandwiches arrived. There was no pastries. This was the worst afternoon tea I have ever experienced, I felt totally humiliated in front of my guests and it totally ruined my birthday event. But hey ho, I was advised there was a wedding reception taking place at the same time and the kitchen were busy with the wedding parties' event which the hotel clearly prioritised over my birthday party, and this showed in volumes! I most certainly would never recommend.
