The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Visited pub as it was dog friendly and had good reviews. We were met with a very friendly owner at the bar. We enjoyed 3 courses and drinks in lovely atmosphere. New menu we were advised had just gone live. Shared a pigs in blanket starter which was lovely. Both had BBQ blade of beef main with chips & salad (see pic) and finishing with a shared choc brownie.

Lovely dinner with friends at the George. It’s beautifully done and the food was delicious. Amazing service, particularly in accommodating our spoon selection 😀

Absolutely love this place . First visit ever .. had two dogs with me .. and felt at ease the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.. which I haven't seen in ages .. would certainly recommend a visit .. food lovely too

Hearty beef goulash with freshly made spätzle, just what was needed on a chilly January evening! Washed down with a pint of Stiegl Goldbräu. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This was a delightful unexpected find, and I will definitely be returning soon!

Excellent carvery mist days. This is my 7th visit before I decided to review it. Great service and food. Obviously a well run premises !

Food item missing - entire main meal. Delivery driver was on our road but couldn’t find the house as he wouldn’t listen to me or look at house numbers, just kept referring back to Google maps. Food was OK but nothing amazing.

I have had the best kebab ever tonight. I have lived in the area for years and wish I had gone to this place years ago. Really good doner meat and chilli sauce. Generous portion size.

Elizabeth,Sophie and Kacey Have you ever wonder if there is a place where the stuff are the preachers of the atmosphere…well this is the place! Stunning decor, you feel like walking out somewhere in Italy by the river. I can not emphasise on the fact that the team behind the bar(mentioned above) are absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for the implacable service and flawless drinks. Do not be afraid to try their food as well! Ps: see you again guys, thank you so much!

I do not recommend getting any drinks there that are mixed ( only bottled ), make sure you watch the bartender make the drink as I made a mistake of not looking and I’m pretty sure something was put in mine and my friends drink, as this was the only one we had and we were sick and completely locked out from everything around us, we can’t remember most of our night ( and we didn’t even drink much). They also sell alcohol to teenagers and they don’t check ids. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

Delicious burger at Blake’s of Dover. A very friendly gentleman behind the bar serving lovely pints at affordable prices. A lovely evening out for anyone looking for a typical English Experience in Dover.

Beautiful restaurant, well decorated, great atmosphere, amazing owner very friendly, works so hard…but the main thing we went for was the food and that was also fantastic we will return 👍

If you're craving a kebab in Ashford, Topkapi is a solid choice. They're seriously quick with delivery, and the food always arrives hot. The salad is always fresh and crisp, making the whole thing a real treat. I wouldn't order a kebab from anywhere else!
