We have been wanting to visit this restaurant for some time, but I was annoyed at their £75 pp charge if you did not cancel 48 hours prior to arrival, a gross over-charge. Anything could happen in that time and so we eventually just booked the day before. Enjoyable food and worth the Michelin star. We had the 5 course menu. The amuse bouche x 3 was superb, so delicate. The only dish I wasn't keen on was the Scallop and tuna tartare. I couldn't taste or see the scallop or tuna and the cucumber dominated. The raviolo, sea bass, and pheasant were excellent and the dessert with Nashi pear sublime. Service was incredibly good. Parking was good (if crowded) as the surrounding streets had no parking restrictions. Disabled access fine. Neither I nor my husband are keen on tasting menus and the 3 course lunch didn't attract. I doubt we would return as it isn't the kind of place (or the price - £227.25 inc a small carafe + one glass of wine + 12.5% service. ) to become a loved destination. But we liked it, tried it and pleased we did so.

It was an incredible experience and it’s amazing to see what can be done with food because every meal was unreal! Highly recommend the wine pairing too. I can’t wait to come back in the future!

Lovely little bar. So friendly and welcoming, we stayed in Scarborough for 4 nights and went here twice, we would have gone again but they don't open at the beginning of the week. Food was delicious....the loaded fries were great and my mum said the halloumi salad was the best she'd ever had! The cheese/charcuterie boards are a decent size and very good value.Nice ales too. It's only small so would recommend booking.

Great small local seafood restaurant. We ate tapas style and the dishes were amazing. Oysters were super fresh and tasty, the fried courgettes excellent and the fried seafood really good. Excellent service, only downside was that we booked early (6pm) and sat in the window. Evidently there’s no heating so it was pretty cold. TBF, there were blankets and they did bring a little heater and it did warm up as the kitchen got going, but might worth wearing an extra layer!

As always, the food was fantastic, along with great service and explanation of the wine for each dish on every course. We will definitely be returning again, as we believe this to be the best restaurant in the area.

A lovely find which was made even better as my partner came out from Kent to dine with me. Booking was straightforward even though it was done through a third-party app. We chose to have dinner on a late January, Saturday and even turned down the offer of dining in a private room which I won't do on my return. Of course dining has a lot to do with atmosphere as well as the quality of the food which is why my partner didn't want a much more intimate setting but on another occasion I'll probably go for the private room. Oh, we had already selected the restaurant instead of dining in the bar. Food, wine and service were all very good and it's definitely a spot to revisit and if you want the more intimate atmosphere or even to host a small group then a private room might be worth trying. Food was excellent and service was attentive without being overbearing. I'd better say that there is a decent wine, spirits and drinks menu that should cater to all tastes. Finally it appears that a daytime visit is likely to be on the cards as i note they do breakfast Tuesday - Saturday
